How a real woman would cope since Vilja is not even close to living up to the meaning of her name. My dearest Runar, Please accept my apologies for being unable to meet you for our romantic dinner. I do have an even better idea which I have already put into action.
Upon your leaving the Imperial city you will be followed by the two people I have hired. A thug with a very violent reputation and an expert tracker. They will inevitably find where you live, and the invitation letter to have dinner with me will eventually be delivered to your wife, or not depending upon your actions. I say eventually for I wish you the agony of never knowing when your life will be torn apart.
You will leave the Lovers Tears with the proprietor of the Tiber Septim Hotel and will never attempt to contact me again. If you follow these instructions faithfully, more faithfully than you are to your wife, I will not have your love letter delivered to her though I will keep it for that purpose should the need to use it arise in the future.
Hoping your knees grow together, your loving Vilja.

I remember Runar! An absolute pig! I wanted to "do him in" and make sure he wasn't an annoyance for any more of Cyrodiil's women.

Naw. Runar is just an Iraq: ruled by a pair of nuts. Vilja falling for him and being a willing victim then unable to cope and foisting the prob off on a friend is the real problem.

I guess it's depends on someone's POV, I just plain didn't like him.

Runar's script and voice acting were well done if rather cheesy. Pasteurized processed cheese like material cheesy but anyway. It got the point across. We were just disappointed with Vilja's scripting. We recognize it was a work in progress in developing the Vilja character, and the Skyrim version was vastly improved. Really, it demonstrates the difficulties of developing characters and backgrounds, just like the troubles experienced when making movies or writing books.
There were a few other errors along the way as mentioning Vilja's home is Morrowind. I suppose generally speaking the archipelago around Solstheim is in Morrowind territory.

And you could swim from Seda Neen to Raven Rock in just over 20 RL minutes!

Gee I wouldn't want to end up on Vilja's Black list ... Runar definitely is a scumbag that's true but it's so unlike Vilja to hire thugs and murderers Roleplaying a righteus Knight of the Nine in my game I couldn't possibly revert to a violent solution so I just scared him off If he ever reappears I will cast Midas Mind Control on him and make him strike the Imperial Legion palace guard - than he would wake up in his cozy cell at the Imperial Legion Fort ... as the guard said the drunkards cell has a distinct ... aroma too it
