I was doing a lot of teleporting for a bit and when I called Constance to meet me with the Amulet, no Constance.
Waited a while, not sure if it was 72 game hours, and no Constance at Gnisis.
Help! She adds a lot of interest.

As I recall, looking for her in Gnisis has always worked for me. There's some suggestions in the "Finding Lost Companions" thread hereLoriel

Constance frequently does that with me. She will respond if I tell her "come to me" but never appears (oddly, she often tells me she's in the middle of a fight). Telling her to meet me somewhere usually works, it just entails me making a detour to go get her.

Thx guys,
Amulet gets me to Contact Constance, but Yes results in nothing, ie no way to set up a meeting anywhere.
Been to Gnisis, no Constance. Waited 72 hours, no Constance.
Pulled mod = 'Your Companion has died'
Saved without Constance and reloaded mod, got the headless Constance, which apparently can be fixed.
Wondering if I might have left her in a cave, going to check.

That actually sounds like your save game file may be corrupt. This can be almost impossible to repair since the corruption could be due to something you did in the game, a mod conflict, or just a computer hiccup; and often such corruption won't appear til weeks or months after whatever caused it. You can try playing from an earlier save and hope it's one before what caused the corruption, but if it isn't you may play for weeks before noticing it. A common cause of save corruption is using the quicksave option; I had to abandon a couple of games before being told not to quicksave.

So this Multi-Autosave program has been taken off the Nexusmods website. I scanned it with VirusTotal is a free service that analyzes suspicious files and URLs and facilitates the quick detection of viruses, worms, trojans, and all kinds of malware. This is the same service that Nexusmods is currently using. I recommend using it for everything you download from the internet from any source and I also recommend that you use it to scan any older files (mods or otherwise) on your computer. Unfortunately the mod Multi Auto Save and Mutli Auto Save with Menu Replacer has failed the scan. 4/54 anti viruses have detected a malware hit. So I do not recommend using this mod and If you have then I would remove it. I of course was concerned and then I went into my mod collection and realized that I had the archive but I never used it. I am using an older, different mod that does the same thing and it can be found over at Morrowind Modding History and Nexusmods and it is called AutoMV. I scanned the archive and it resulted negative for malware. I will forward this information to MMH.
