Emma, it's a wonderful mod, as so many people have said, but I'm stuck at the end:
I'm running the BT_Whitewolf_2_0.esm with the BT_WWLokpatch1.esp patch and I've done most of the miscellaneous quests, I think, except for the Librarian (tried her, but she didn't seem too interested), and whatever the 'miscellaneous' gloves are.
In the main quest, I had my first sleep in Laurenna's, as instructed, woke up and killed two guards with Laurenna, while Sigrid watched.
I had a second sleep, woke up, Laurenna's gone, Wulfren's appeared, Sigrid's still there, but there doesn't seem any way to progress and finish the quest. I can get Wulfren to join me and discuss tactics, but that's all. Ther's no pointer as to what to do next.

Are you playing as a Vampire? The setup of VE can sometimes break the quest, and it's not possible for me to prevent that. But, there is still a solution: download "Vampiric Illusion" by Peter/ps33, available at Planet Elder Scrolls, and 'hide' your vampire identity while performing the quests. There are two other occasions where being a vampire might break the quest: when getting a certain key and during a wedding ceremony.
Oh... you haven't touched the dialog with TES-tool, have you? In that case, you are in big trouble...
TEStool tend to ruin dialog-intense mods, and it does indeed ruin Lokken.

No. Neither of those. Nothing special, except that this character has been around for a long time and played through a lot of mods.

Laurenna is gone but Wulfren doesn't have any dialog except for that you can ask him to join you? He didn't even mention where Laurenna went?.
This must be a so far undiscovered glitch, then... Did you talk to Laurenna before you slept and the badguys showed up?
Do you by any chance have a recent save game, from before you slept in the cottage? If you have, try to make sure that you talk to both Laurenna and Sigrid before you got to sleep and then again after fighting the badguys. I think maybe you didn't talk to either of them after you returned to the cottage, and that could possibly have caused the glitch.
Are you using a male or female character?
And, if the suggestion above doesn't work, please write down your last journal entry for me. We'll sort this out, I'm sure of that

Thanks Emma.
Yes, Laurenna is gone and Wulfren has nothing interesting to say. I'm sure I talked to both of the women before both sleeps - that's how I got the orders to go to sleep from Laurenna, although Sigrid never seems to have much to say. This character is female.
I'll try all of your suggestions and get back to you.
I've played through as you said, and talked to both women at every opportunity. Last journal entries are as follows:
8 Evening Star (Day 847)
@Sigrid# told me that the safest way to leave the castle should be through a @secret passage# leading from the southeast tower to freedom.
8 Evening Star (Day 847)
@Laurenna#'s @mother# is now in safety in @Laurenna#'s cottage. She was very grateful to have been rescued.
8 Evening Star (Day 847)
@Laurenna# invited me to @rest# in her bed for a while. I @guess# I'd better do as she says - she is very stubborn, and I don't think she will take no for an answer. Besides, we still have to wait in the cottage for @Wulfren# to show up.
8 Evening Star (Day 847)
Two of Ragnar's @men# attacked us while I was @sleep#ing! @Luck#ily, I was able to @kill# them. @Wulfren# hasn't showed up so far, and @Laurenna# @want#s me to @rest# some more while we wait.
However, I've also been ensuring that my mods and saves are as clean as possible with Wrye Mash, and I now get the following errors when I first talk to Wulfren:
Script AA_Wulfren2Script
Object/Script ID "cdc_companion_call_script" not found on line 10.
Script AA_Wulfren2Script
Syntax Error Line 10.
Could not find variable "cdc_companion_call_script"
==>CompileAndRun problem was found in Greeting "Greeting 5"
"Good morning, %PCName ......................." etc
So maybe it's a problem with my save, and/or something that's been 'fixed' in error by Wrye Mash?

Yes, it's something that has been 'fixed' by Wrye Mash!
cdc_companion_call_script is refering to a script in *another* mod. It is completely correct that it is there, as the dialog is filtered to skip that entry if CdCooley's Companion teleport mods aren't running together with Lokken (the dialog entry there to prevent that his mod causes a major cheat option). So, normally, this shouldn't be a problem, but if Wrye Mash is trying to 'fix' this, it could possibly cause a problem.
I think it has done so, as this dialog entry that filters for Cdc_companion appears exactly when you meet Wulfren, and this is where you have your 'glitch'.
Wrye Mash is an excellent tool for cleaning files.
But... as for cleaning mods....
I don't know how many modders work the same way as I do, but *all* my mods are interacting with other mods, and *all* my mods will include variables from other mods.
I have already known that cleaning my mods with TESTools will break them, and obviously, Wrye Mash will do the same.
I can dig up the next dialog entries for you so that you can proceed. But if every dialog-entry filtered for cdc_companion_call references have been removed by Wrye Mash, then you are unlikely to be able to proceed very far. There are also other entries filtered for various things in other mods, like my own mods and VE, so I really don't know...

I've checked and I'm not running any other mods with cdc_companion_call. Nor does it appear in any of the save files. I've reloaded the untouched BT_Whitewolf_2_0.esm and the problem still occurs.
So maybe Mash has erroneously 'cleaned' something from the save file.
I'd like to get as far as defeating the bad guy. But if it's too much trouble, I can wait until next game. This is a very big and well-worn save file.
And thanks for all of your help with this.
