Heya,
it has been a while since I have played Skyrim. Lately I reinstalled it and also downloaded the Vilja-Mod. Now I think to remember, that if she says "I'm hungry" or something, you could give her something to eat. Same with drinks. But I cannot find those options in all the dialogue-otions. Am I blind? Or is my memory playing tricks on me?
I'd be grateful for a quick answer - maybe somewhere there is a list with the dialogue-options?

It's under, " Let's just talk for a little while." then "Is there anything I can do for you?"
OR
If you are at an inn.
Her menu will change and at the top will be "Would you like something to eat?" , "Would you like something to drink?"

In other words: Option A "Am I blind?" was correct. Thank you very much for the quick reply.

Also, when she says she is thirsty sometimes she will also ask if you have anything for her and a dialogue will pop up allowing you to choose something to give to her. If you also have the Rift housecarl Iona with you when she says she is thirsty, occasionally Iona will start an amusing dialogue with Vilja.

Are you sure it's just with Iona? I'm sure I've heard Lydia have a short banter with Vilja about drinking. I believe it's based on a voice type.

I've not heard the same lines from Lydia that Iona uses. Iona and Lydia have different voices.

Hmm, I may be confusing it with another follower. It's been some time since I heard that.

That's an interesting info - thanks. Will try that occasionally.

Lydia does comment on her drinking too.

Lydia does comment on her drinking too. Yeah. I thought I've heard them go something like this once: Vilja: I'm thirsty Lydia: You're always thirsty. Vilja (angry voice): No I'm not. And then it goes on two or three more lines, I think, that I can't remember.

And then it goes on two or three more lines, I think, that I can't remember. I've had both Iona and Lydia with me for quite some time recently, and those lines are how the conversation starts with Iona. Iona goes on to tell her that being honest is the best policy and then Vilja admits to it. I've heard it several times now from Iona. However I don't recall Lydia ever speaking those lines. Their voices and 'personalities' are quite different, Iona being the tough, no-nonsense one, though friendly, and she speaks that conversation in her distinctive style. I have a video of the conversation. I can't remember what Lydia says about drinking, but I'll be listening. A frequent conversation between Lydia and Vilja is about eating and diets of course. That one comes up quite a lot.

Am I still confusing them? Maybe I'm thinking about Uthgerd the Unbroken? I know I've had her along once, a long time ago. But it was also a long time ago I used Lydia. I've never had Iona along.

As one who gets bored easily with repetitive comments from npcs (I have two or three squelch mods so I do no have to listen to those), I generally configure Vilja so she does not say "I'm 'tirsty'". I have also noticed something about dialogue which I do not recall being in the original version-when you initiate dialogue with her instead of getting the full dialogue options, you often have to first go through a mini-dialogue about whether you are thirsty or hungry. Is there any way to configure around that? I do not use any mods which require my character to eat or drink and my character does neither and carries food only to give to her when she wants to go to some inn and eat. I would prefer to just get to the purpose for which the dialogue was opened.

Vilja checking on your needs was a new feature in 3.00; she should only ask you about twice a day. I don't recall if there's a way to turn it off. I will put a note about this as suggestion.

Glad to hear it was something added and not my imagination. I am also glad you will note the suggestion. It seems trivial but Skyrim is so buggy about dialogue choice selections that I prefer as few of those forced dialogue things as possible. We all know Vilja is sweet, caring and concerned for our welfare since she has many comments about that without adding a separate, unneeded, compulsory dialogue tree.
