Hmm, my computers security system refuses to go to that link, it seems dangerous I have never seen any good cat model for Oblivion, only retextures of the mountain lion, and it doesn't look much like a real cat IMO. Is this a brand new model at that link, or is it the old mountain lion model?

My computer didn't like that link either...
[Edit] P.S. I managed to get there on trying again. There is a picture of the cat. It claims to be a completely new model based on The Witcher cats and to not use the mountain lion model. It does look more cat-like than the mountain lion based one. However my computer didn't like it when I tried to download the file so I wasn't going to risk it any further. We'll see if it comes to the Nexus.

If the model itself is from The Witcher, I doubt that Nexus will accept it, as that would be considered as stolen content.

From the thread... Unlikely to be on Nexus. The Lab isn't a virus...just nerds.

Looking into the cat model itself....yes it is from Witcher III which is supported by Nexus...and modded before. So I'm not sure if that's a big problem.

We've tried several cat mods but have never been satisfied. One...'Cats and Rats' (?)...caused much mayhem anytime a cat killed a rat. Guards went on a cat massacre etc...townsfolk inevitably get involved. Next thing you know...Skingrad is depopulated...heh. I've yet to try this one myself in play. Been non-stop Construction Set in my spare time. Downloaded, though. Mediafire hosts it...7mb. www.mediafire.com/download/111cvjvf4u1dzg4/Room207+Cat+Companion.7z

Oooh... that IS a cute cat I have downloaded the mediafire file, there was no readme. It is a cat companion mod, but is there a model that one may use? Think I need to try this one out

I have downloaded the mediafire file, there was no readme. It is a cat companion mod, but is there a model that one may use? Think I need to try this one out Way cuter than mine... From the thread at the Lab... Features: - a new cat model with sounds and mouth animation; - a spell to summon him and a configuration menu; - he will follow you and heal you in combat or support you with buff spells; - you can ride him like a mount and when you do your character will become tiny and cute; - you can give him treats (any cat-edible food will do); - you can play with him and his thread ball; - when you sneak he will cast invisibility on himself and at night he will use a light spell; - Randomly he can find items and give them to you.

Yes, was I was wondering is if there was a modders resource model-only mod, which I could possibly use to make a cat-add-on for Vilja. Else, the cat-mod sounds terrific (although I will NOT use the cat as a mount ), and I suppose that anyone could pretend that it was Vilja's cat if they wish to.

That direct Mediafile link allowed me to download the file without any problems. I've installed it and taken a very quick look at it tonight (I should say; 'this morning' as I've been out for the evening and it is well past 1am. ). As documentation was rather sparse I searched via the author's name and found this blog which provides better information about it: undersunandsky.blogspot.co.uk/?zx=d2f180db03bb3519As noted, it requires OBSE 0021. It is certainly much better than any previous cat model and is rather nice. One of the options enables you to pick it up. However this doesn't mean you can cradle it in your arms or sit it on your lap. It merely means it hovers out in front of you so you can place it on a table top or other similar high object. I haven't tried the play options yet. Here are three screenshots of it together with Vilja and Wolfgang. Although Wolfgang is following Vilja here, the cat is following my character. I didn't see a way of getting it to follow Vilja.: This shot is of what happens if you choose to ride the cat: As well as shrinking you down very small to fit on the cat, it also makes Vilja mount Bruse.

So we have a way for the PC to turn into Alice post Drink Me, how to get Bruse into various buildings and get Vilja mounted while therein. Out of curiosity would you please do that in the Cheydinhal cottage and give us some screen shots? Just sort of wondering how much Swan Cottage can hold before exploding.
