Wrinklyninja is unhappy about this refer to the thread below forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1611336-rel-loot-thread-26/"It's also very irresponsible: the uploader is providing a snapshot build that's a week old, with known issues that have since been fixed, and missing features. For one, users of that snapshot build will never be informed when there's a LOOT update available. There is absolutely no need to go around distributing builds like this when they're all officially available anyway. It just muddies the waters and negatively impacts everyone but the uploader."

It's all due to the changes the LOOT team had to make in order for it to work on both Oldrim and SSE, and with the changes NMM needed too for the 64 bit SSE, both LOOT and NMM work normally when used on the 32 bit Oldrim.
One version that works on both games seems to be the way to go, as FNIS v7 is also just one version works on both too, Groovtama may not be able to make a combined 32/64 bit version though, due to the different base skeleton design used in SSE and different HKX files, although it might be possible once we get SKSE and SkyUI updated and working for SSE.

ah compromises. I find Apachii Hair main file will not install through NMM download or manually from a zip file using the NMM option

Finis installed easily with NMM and functions well but I have not added any animation mods yet. Not aware of any I use that have been ported to SE. Was unable to access anything yesterday on Nexus due to massive traffic.

Now that I have SSE up and running, thanks to the steam bug fix thread, I noticed a interesting trend in some mods. One to get Sniffles blood boiling. Mods that have you looting OG Skyrim mods for pieces. UNP has you getting a head mesh from a OG mod for example. (There are other worse mods for this, but it the one I remember.)
Other than that SSE UNP has a better installer then the SE version. Allows you to choose from different body options which in OG required messing around with optional files and hand coping textures. Something I am not good at. This old brain gets confused. Took me a full day to bet DynDOLOD to work on OG as I switched between tutorials and documentation of SFO, Enhanced Landscapes, and DynDOLOD.

I've learned to avoid mods with lots of red text and read the posts to see what issues people are having as well as fixes if they are minor. Arrowsong I did as a test but it does require some tweaking with the graphics. I'll attach my current load order but ignore apachii hair it is not installed but stays in the list even though I deleted it completely when it didn't work for me. The phantom mod in load order is a known NMM bug. I have to admit NMM is working very stable doing multiple load orders and removing failed mods like MO did. Getting OG ninghiem to work was a great happy surprise. To the best of my knowledge this is stable. LoadOrder_SkyrimSE_2016-11-16T18-25-03.txt (2.01 KB) oh Ihave too much time on my hands.

You are clearly doing more in SSE than I. I just have a couple of mods in it so far. Waiting till tomorrow to do any more in it, after the next Frost Fall drop.
As for reading the last few pages of posts on an mod, vital. Spared myself more than one buggy but tempting mod that way.

My problem is with LOOT.
it keeps rearranging the proper load order.
Supposed to be: Update Dawnguard Hearthfire Dragonborn unofficial patch
it wants it to be: Update Unofficial patch hearthfire Dragonborn Dawnguard
UGH!

Using Loot 0.10.1 or higher? Just asking because I don't believe loot did that to me and I heard it was an early bug. I hope it isn't too screwy, since I plan to add a bunch of mods tonight some of which do have particular load orders and places they need to be.
Quote from Loot 0.10.1 change log Fixed
- When saving a load order for Fallout 4 or Skyrim SE, the positions of official plugins (including DLC plugins) in plugins.txt are now ignored if they are present and a hardcoded order used instead. Note that there is a bug in Skyrim SE v1.2.39 that causes the DLC plugins to be loaded in timestamp order: this behaviour is ignored.

Latest version I got yesterday from the Github. Did it immediately. One plugin needs it one way, and every other one needs it normally.
