Vilja is the most interesting part of the game). Yes and that's why I've been playing this game so long. I never tire of her quirky personality and chatter. I've also been finding some incredible quest mods that are a lot better than the originals. That's a good idea with a pay system for fast travel. You could make a mod with stagecoaches between all the safe points. |

Took over a year to build!  It's not 'leveled'...so low level characters can encounter high level critters etc...Vilja friendly. Sounds good. I'm looking forward to it. That will be the next thing I load up when I finish my current quest mod. I haven't been to Hammerfell. Back in those day I was a flight sim nut. |

I've been seeking quest mods also, but only ones that add quest lines, not single quests. That is a major failing of Oblivion, especially if you eschew the main quest, only four guilds and each has so few quests that it is literally "finish a quest, get a promotion, finish a quest, get a promotion" til you are guildmaster. (And since the assassins' guild doesn't interest me, I've only three guilds to join. In Morrowind I extended gameplay by limiting each character to joining two guilds/factions ...not a viable option in Oblivion.)
FWIW, I'm also a MS Flightsim fan, though haven't fired it up in months. Also recall SWOTL, Red Baron, AOE, Flying Corps, Wings Of Glory, CFS, even oddities like Airpower. And don't get me started on race sims.

Red Baron II was freakin' awesome. Best of the early combat flight sims.
CFS2...I had the entire Pacific/CBI theaters active...online squadrons...building the Atomic Bomb mod. It was pretty much virtual WW2 in the Pacific...then came IL-2 which was fantastic...but smaller in scope than CFS2.
The internet was a much smaller place in those days...
There are many big quest mods...many.

Wow, I really struck a chord here. You guys really get around. Let's see: CFS, Crimson Skies, Falcon, Il2 but mostly EECH/EEAH. I spent a lot of time at SimHq.com. I used to be a terrain builder for EECH. We didn't have a construction set. I did it with C-language programs and Lightwave. We did have the source code for the game that was released to the public. Hahaha...I designed mesh terrain for both CFS2 and FS.
SimHQ was also a haunt...CFS Outhouse...etc, etc.
