... I've not tried 'Dirtier Bravil' and I note there's a lite version of the mod as well. I feel a bit hesitant to try it if it has pathing problems though. It is just a graphics mod, adding no NPCs, quests, etc., so is easy to remove if you don't like it. (Like any location mod, make sure your character is not in that cell when you enable or disable it.) I experienced no path issues (not saying others haven't) and Vilja has dutifully followed me all over town. One house mod I like, - if it can be called that, - is the Simple Portable Tent mod by khettienna and I regard it as essential equipment for any character that likes to go a-wandering all over the map. I loved using a tent in Morrowind (along with the campfire and cooking options of NOM) but haven't yet found one I like in Oblivion - most are Tardis-like affairs resembling portable mansions. I'll look for that one ...if I can ever download from Nexus again.

.... For a ten year old game Oblivion still looks good and I think it can still manage to hold its own despite its age. Definitely, graphics were never an issue, just lack of things to do compared to preceding games. You should try Qarl's texture pack, it replaces most of the default textures with high-res versions; definitely resource hungry - your system must push about four times the default texture data - but it is beautiful. Your system should handle it fine, my old Vista 32 rig could run it ...with about 25fps just walking around outside, lol.

I was amazed to find some nice looking custom female light armour that could actually be practical and properly protect the person wearing it. I've been thin and flat chested all my life and I weigh the same now as I did when I was 17 so stupidly proportioned female body mods are a complete turn off for me. If I could modify this cuirass to be either A or AA sized my joy would be complete.

I'll look for that one ...if I can ever download from Nexus again. The Simple Portable Tent is slightly largish and it's basically furnished inside, but it certainly isn't a mansion and there isn't any Tardis effects going on since the inside is the same size as the outside. It's the kind of tent you'd set up if you're going to be doing things in a particular area for a few days and want a home base to come back to. There are some other smaller tents on Nexus, but this is the one I've found that suits me best. I can e.mail the .rar file to you if you like if going on Nexus is a problem.

I'm not certain (having never done this) but think you could copy the equivalent male cuirass, give it a unique name, designate it female, and give it to your PC. (I've seen a crossdresser mod for Oblivion and, from the docs, think the reverse of this is what they did.)

If you're looking for different A & AA armor/clothes, I'd suggest fly's and hepsy's stuff. www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/users/1090935www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/users/763208

Ah....Eiolynn gets a bit annoyed if anyone calls her a zombie. But it's certainly a method I could tryout as a way to change the armour set's cuirass. Nothing ventured, nothing gained and all that. I think I've found all the meshes available on Nexus to create the body type I like and I've used them all at various times, but the problems with them has always been finding armour and clothing to suit.
I've used some of fly's mods before and while some of what they make is a bit odd to my eyes there are some useful items to be found. They are always very well made and I do like their original approach as compared to other offerings on Nexus.
Hespy's mods are new to me and I know Eiolynn would hate me forever if I dressed her in some of their clothing items. Anime is not quite my thing, but I could see some bits and pieces of clothing that might be of use if I pick and mix a little.

Fly has some really cool articulated armors that I like. All the bits move and such.

I like the iron armour, but I would want to edit Eiolynn's body textures to have protective tattoos again before I let her wear it since there's a few too many gaps in that armour for it to be called a complete and practical source of protection. I tend to be a bit fussy about such things like that. I have all of Eiolynn's various old body textures, but they are for the vanilla body mesh so I'll have to teach myself all over again how to place the tattoo images onto a body texture. Fortunately I still have the individual tattoo images so at least I won't have to recreate those again.

... but the problems with them has always been finding armour and clothing to suit.... Lol, and vice versa. How often I've found a nice clothing mod, only to read it is designed for a different body than I am using, or some obscure body mod not even available on any of the major sites. And speaking of anime, that was my recent experience with this issue. Needed a specific anime style body mod, released only in Japanese, plus two English language additions to this, a total of 600meg of downloads, just to use the nice armor and clothing which caught my eye (when looking for items to go with a couple of nice traditional Japanese houses with rock gardens that I thought of using). Never did locate all the necessary files. Probably just as well, I'd have ended up with another, Japanese themed, Oblivion install.

... so I'll have to teach myself all over again how to ... Oh, don't you hate that. Whenever I return to the CS I feel half my time is spent returning to tutorials because I've forgotten even the basic procedures. ....yet I can remember the lyrics to every song from my high school days, even the ones I hated.
