That would be good. They need a new engine with all the latest greatest features. I'm happy with Skyrim though and can only agree about the diversity. I'm sure they understand the need for diversity in everything ranging from quests to landscape.
Still almost a year away. I can wait.

Nah... won't be any White Wolf of Lokken without TeuTonic... the mod is so much his work, it wouldn't be fair to port Lokken if he isn't around, and I haven't heard from him for 2-3 years.

Even if TESV won't work on my computer.. I'm going to go ahead and buy it along with the official book. It is so hard to buy them at a later time...

Following the patterns of such things, might be a better balance between availability/timing and price by waiting until the GOTY version is released, roughly a year after the initial release. Yeah, I know, I'm totally jumping ahead now

Super excited. Given how they did Fallout, I am guessing Skyrim will be a bit more 'Morrowind'-like, which...would be wonderful. I hope we get to visit Solstheim in the game. ...on a side note, I wonder how they'll handle the border with Cyrodiil?

I wonder how they'll handle the border with Cyrodiil? I guess they will handle it in the same way they handled region bordering in Oblivion, won't they? I think you won't be able to cross the border unless you'll use mods or cheat. On a side note, Skyrim will border with Morrowind, Hammerfell and High Rock as well. I don't think TES V will ever include Solstheim, that's just part of another game and Bethesda really doesn't seems incline to remake old stuff. As for landscape variety, I'm still sure there will be plenty and that the map will be something along the lines of this. They'll find ways to vary the landscape and climate, as it will obviously be. We can take that pretty much as a given.

I was hoping it would be in Elsweyr, but after watching the teaser, I'm a lot anxious to play it! LOL.
I'm even playing a table rpg with some friends in the world of the Elder Scrolls, I'm planning to push them into the events in Oblivion and prepare everything to send them to Skyrim hahaha

The teaser is intriguing and well made but, as per every trailer, doesn't tell a thing about the actual product. For this reason I'm looking forward for ingame screenshots and gameplay footage, which I think Bethesda will spread in the next weeks, starting from January I suppose. -EDIT I just came across this page on RPG Italy (in english): www.rpgitalia.net/news/skyrim/da-oblivion-skyrim-modifiche-e-aspettative/

Solstheim isn't part of Skyrim and also isn't part of Morrowind. Solstheim isn't linked to any province. It was involved in the second Morrowind expansion though. As for the border; well, i guess it's the same as with TES III and TES IV. You can't cross it and you don't see anything.

It will be interesting to see dragons of any kind again, for me. I just wish there would be more sentient kinds of dragons that you can converse and interact with as opposed to trying to evade and not get killed by.
I was just hoping that there would be a nice Nordic assemblade of towns, with at least some longboat sailing on it. Even if it is coastal.

Did you all see the Game Informer cover, along with the enigmatic inscription in Draconic? I'll miss Lokken, though! It would be great to visit that place again...
