A very big valley in Hammerfell in Distant LOD. The standard play area is to the right out of sight.

Lovely dogonporch. Sigh. You turkeybutt. I set Oblivion aside to do Skyrim. Then set Skyrim aside to do Oblivion. Then set Oblivion aside to do Fallout 4. Then set FO4 aside to do Daggerfall. Then set Daggerfall aside to do Morrowind. Now I have to set Morrowind aside to do Oblivion again to check out your mod.
That's sort of an extension of the Colovian Highlands, right? Landscape-scenery wise.

Yes...it just continues the play area all the way through Hammerfell right to the edges. It is fully pathed and populated...lots of locations. Companion friendly for the most part so Vilja can tag along.
Easy to get lost...and the monsters can be unleveled....beware.

One of the most memorable moments playing Oblivion was an unleveled monster. I think the PC was level 4. Left Cheydinhal for Imperial city on the road. For some reason that enemy spawn point barfed up a Minotaur Lord. Chased me down to Lake Rumare. Remember seeing it wading in the water as I escaped. I circled around and it chased me back to Cheydinhal where the road patrol got dead then the guards went after it and got dead. I think I tried every imaginable resource at the PCs disposal to deal with it over a couple of days. That was so much more fun than the game handing out appropriately leveled monsters. Had the same thing happen east of Skingrad with a Goblin: Oh Goblin, weak fireball! Nope. Splat. Arrows!! Nope splat. Goblin Warlord? Wait a minute while I check the wiki. Oh crap.

Re: unleveled... Some of those new critter packs have really scary monsters. Fly's in particular. But read the comments first... www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/41210/?Back side of the Adaman Fortress... (edit re: Fly's Creatures...they are incredibly tough and often leveled well above you. If you want a sensible version of these odd monsters, you need to get into the Construction Set and edit the attack multipliers, levels, etc. Little Baron and Betty also make awesome creatures...to name a few)

Foggy morning... Lonely guard tower. Clearing as the morning progresses. Note: sheep and guards chatting. Thick brush & rocks. Hard to navigate.
