Romanophjunior, did you actually bring Vilja with you on this quest? As far as I can recall, we tried to prohibit this, and make her say no to following you, just in order to ensure that she wasn't affected by any of the bugs related to it. Maybe you used the console to summon her to you? There are difficulties with followers and this quest, and although Wolf and I have been discussing back and forth for more than an hour now, we can not come up with anything that is better than Sniffles' suggestions (that in fact are very good, and loads of thanks to you, Sniffles, for being so helpful ) P S this is maybe a silly question, but you did try to use the Vilja Reset Spell on her, didn't you?

Ah, she isn't painting when it is snowing? Clever girl! I don't know why she doesn't. I replied in Sniffles thread first, and then I wrote it was probably a conflict with an animation mod, but obviously it only happens during certain weather conditions. Now, what I really wonder is, why does it snow at Lakeside home? I thought that was a non-snow area? (Although admittedly I haven't played Oblivion for quite some time) Are you maybe using another mod that changes the weather types? I can't see why this would interfere with Vilja's painting, as there is no script running that is doing this - she is simply using an AI-package that is initiated by her dialog, and a one-time script running from it to start executing the AI-package. But if you are indeed using a weather mod, are there maybe any new animations also added with it? (Like for instance shivering with cold). If so, it might be that this conflicts with her AI-packages. Indeed, if you are using a custom timescale, tha would interfere with her activities and probably make her stand idle more than normally. Probably the same goes for other npcs in your game.

Well, Vilja's painting isn't actually a script at all, it's an AI-package. If it doesn't execute, it is because it is overridden by another AI-package, for instance added by another mod, could be a mod that replaces some animations that could be interfering with the animations that she is supposed to use for her painting. We have really worked very hard on avoiding long scrips that are running unnecessarily. Most of Vilja's scripts are executed from the dialog and only run once. "Vilja, start painting" "Alright"->start two line dialogscript END. So Vilja isnt script intense at all, especially not Oblivion Vilja, so when something doesn't work, it's time to look for conflicts with other mods rather than for scripting issues. (Sweet to see you still around, Sniffles

My son is currently playing Daggerfall. He has recently finished Arena and Battlespire. Some games are pretty much eternal.
Me? Uhm, I'm playing Ceasar II. From 1996 or so. Still fun.

I also find her everywhere, but I of course also have admin rights... Zedtsayid, did you search from the main page of Nexus, or where did you do the search?

I'm leaving tomorrow morning, so I'm still here . The underwear is a part of the model itself, so changing it wouldn't be easy. The easiest option would be to just change the texture for that part of the model, so that for instance you have a furry looking texture on the nord boys underwear. I would have to go through the textures and models on my other computer in order to tell you exactly how to do this, but I simply haven't got the time as I'm finishing up my packing. It could be good practicing for you to grab the existing clothing mod for the children and find the texture folder there and change some textures for your own usage. Make sure you back up the folder first, unless you know how to make new clothes in the construction set. There are several tutorials for how to use the construction set, I think there are some in the pinned thread in this forum, and you can always google it.

Hi Serenity,
Abot is welcome to publish the compatible version of White Wolf of Lokken. I actually believe I have already given this permission once before, also then through another modder for forwarding the information to Abot. If I should write to Abot specifically, please let me know, else consider this as my "official permission" for Abot to publish it. I of course take for granted that proper credit is given, and that it is made clear that White Wolf of Lokken is made by me and TeuTonic, not only by me.

I'm absolutely all for the idea . I agree with Amgepo that a robust non-aristocratic cat like the striped one (princess Abbie) would fit her best, or the tricolored one. But if you give her the tricolored one, make sure that it has a female name, as male cats can not be tricolored (the color gene is in the X-cromosoms for cats, hence will a male cat only inherit its color from its mother and therefore tricolored cats have to be female, i.e. inherited color from both mother and father). Of course, a norwegian forest cat would be perfect for her, but it would require quite some remodeling to give the right impression . I have a norwegian forest cat, myself, and he is the most handsome and charming man animal I ever met. Well, you can see for yourself in the picture Collin posted. His name is Hagbard, but... I actually used that name in the Vilja-mod already. It's the name of the pet-wolf she nursed back in Solstheim. For a male cat, how about Tryggve? A female one could be for instance Helga.

Have you tried to install these mods one by one instead of all at the same time? If you do, you will know what is the culprit.

I haven't thought of it; I got the impressions that most players are only interested in the large housemods and that most people found this cottage too small. But if there is a wish for it, it probably wouldn't be so hard to port it over-

Hello and welcome. I haven't played the later versions of Julan - the best is probably if you PM Kateri, as she isn't frequenting Elder Scrolls-forums so often nowadays (you might find her posting in the Bethesda Morrowind forum though)

Could he have ended up inside a static? But then it should help if you go to *another* location and wait and then return. Preferably a location in a total different area.

Another request to add: is there a recommended way to implement a "stand aside" to prevent companions from blocking the player into confined spaces? This is twice as likely with a pair of them! And who in Bethesda designed the AI that makes all followers prefer to stop in doorways? That happens in every one of the games. Of course, take a look at Constance, there is a topic for her which makes her do exactly this. It is toggle-able, as the "bad" thing is that a companion that moves out of the way at doorways will for a brief moment be in non-following mode. It doesn't matter if you have only one companion with you, but if there are several and they all have this feature, you are bound to have problems EDIT: Oh, I see that you already got an extensive aanswer by Jac However, there is still a benefit with having it toggle-able, see above.

VILJA SE - MOD OF THE MONTH - THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!   Thanks to all of you, Vilja did the almost impossible. Vilja was released late in the eveing of 28th of December. Only 72 HOURS!!! after the release, she ended up on a honorable second place in the Nexus Mod of the Month list for december, only a few votes behind the winner. Who would have thought that such a thing would be at all possible? And, had she been released on day earlier, maybe she would even had won? I still haven't fully recovered from that happy surprise, but I sincerely want to thank all of you who voted for her. It's heartwarming to know that so many of you are still enjoying her company after all these years .
