It should trigger if you're outside on a clear night. Dunno why it wouldn't trigger, no obvious reason I can think of!

Did you return to Red Mountain with Julan yet? If he hasn't mentioned that, make sure you've been training him.

I think she's supposed to dance that way, from what I remember! Hey, she doesn't have to be GOOD at it to be worth watching! (especially if you give her something like Aleanne's Dancer Outfit to wear...

Yeah, he should have a restore attributes spell, try that. He might also have a disease, but you generally know about those 'cause he makes a fuss. Probably a strength-drain thing.

Hmm? Banish Julan? Male characters can hang out with both Julan and Shani, not sure what you mean ther-- Ohhh... you mean the DATE? Heh... yeah, male characters have to jump through certain, uh, hoops before Shani will hang out with them. Enjoyable hoops, mind! Mostly.

Please don't clean it - I already spent a long time scrutinising data records and only leaving in what I needed. TESTOOL can break dialogue-heavy mods. It's possible I did miss something, but please don't take a sledgehammer approach - it may be that they are deliberate changes. If you post the precise data entries, I can probably tell you.
In any case, I know of no problems caused by the mod due to "dirty" refs in the four years since release, so even IF there is anything, it's almost certainly harmless.

...I reserve the right to disagree with you about Julan and Shani, however. I think encouraging that relationship would be tantamount to pushing survivors back into the smoking remains of a car crash and throwing more petrol on it, but it's your game! In any case, I wish your character and Wulfren all the best. I still wish you would write more Shani so I could agree or disagree with you. I have lost Julan a few times and she gets terribly upset and hurt. Hint...Hint ...Hint Regards, A. I know, I know... I'd like to, really. Shani is great fun to write for, and I have a lot of affection for her as a character. (It's more for her benefit than for Julan's that I discourage their reunion!) It's just that my life is kind of a smoking ruin right now, and modding hasn't been something I've had the energy for for a long time. Someday! If you want Moar Shani, she does have a (sporadically updated) Oblivion Journal!. K.

Er... marry Wulfren? I'm not sure what you're asking here! If I follow you, you romanced Julan, but he's not your type, so you want to switch to Wulfren, but are worried it'll make Julan freak out on you. Well, he will a bit, but it's not like he'd attack you, and he'll come around if you give him time to get over things in his own way (i.e. in a tavern). He can't "tell" what's going on until you actually get married to Wulfren, though. So, no worries. For the record, I never mind at all if people tell me Julan's not their type romantically - he is a specific flavour of character that people tend to either love or hate as a romantic partner. And that's fine - I'd much rather have that reaction than everybody thinking it was "ok"! After all, in real life, not everyone is going to be compatible with just anybody! I reserve the right to disagree with you about Julan and Shani, however. I think encouraging that relationship would be tantamount to pushing survivors back into the smoking remains of a car crash and throwing more petrol on it, but it's your game! In any case, I wish your character and Wulfren all the best.

It's possible, but it'd conflict with all the hair meshes, as they have ears on them already. Sorry, though, I can't give exact advice on how, as it's been years since I last added ears to a mesh!

I did this with Julan and the clannfear, if that's any help as a model. One sec...
script on attacking creature:
Begin KS_Jul_clanf01
float timer
if ( menumode == 1 ) return endif
if ( KS_Julan->GetHealth > 0 ) StartCombat KS_Julan else return endif
If ( GetHealth > 0 ) If ( KS_Julan->GetWeaponDrawn == 0 ) If ( KS_Julan->GetSpellReadied == 0 ) set timer to ( timer + GetSecondsPassed ) If ( timer < 1 ) return endif KS_Julan->StartCombat KS_Jul_clannfear01 endif endif endif
End
Scripts don't run if you're not in the same cell, so I just used that - i.e. no distance check, the battle starts when you enter the cell. That was OK, since the battle could go on for a while - I set up the creature's stats that way (low attacks, high HP). If you want it to only start when the PC is very close, you can add a line at the top with a distance-to-player check. Just bear in mind that if the player can see them as they approach the group from a long way, it will look very odd if they all stand around scratching their bums then suddenly start fighting when the player steps over an invisible line.
