Okey dokey. Go check out some crypt some fang people are partying in. No prob.
"Hmm. I suppose with my abysmal pickiting pockets skills this would be a bad idea." Spideys and skeletons and vampys. No big. Let's see what all the fuss is about in this place. Whoa! 9.85 out of 10 on the dungeon treasure scale.
DB: "Try the college of Winterhold? Well, okay. But... I got no prob holding hands... it's the staring at my throat that makes me uneasy."
But first, I want to stop by my house. No offense gal, but that Home Depot wardrobe with Walmart accessories has got me gritting my teeth. S: "This? Let me guess. You took advantage of some sleazy drunken slut you met in a barn yard. She stole your money and you stole her clothes." DB: "Zing."
DB: "So... a chat about what?" DB: "Sorry. It's those beer and baseball shorts. Can you go back to a thong?"
DB: "uhhhhhhh yipes? Super cute butt takes a time out to suck on a corpse. I could go without that mental image for the rest of my life." DB: "So, Thalmor party time. Dragon before brekky. An auspicious morning. If I had any sense I'd just go back to bed." DB "Figures. Party clothes, no weapons, and an extra helping of dragon." DB: "Take three. This time I'm a little more prepared. You raise them from the dead and I turn them into armor, weapons and ammunition. I've been wanting to shoot you in the butt ever since Helgen, scale face."

Sniffles : If the game doesn't recognize the condition, then how does the PC get the condition? Parts of this game I really don't understand. Actually, most of this game I don't really understand. Started happening after Serana dialogue add on. Any red glow in any direction from any vamp while in the same cell can trigger it. Using the console it tells me she doesn't have the disease.
For example, I just had a MAJOR scenario the developer never even dreamed of. Gave all my gear to Malborn and went off to see Delphine to crash the thalmor embassy party. As I was speaking to Delphine an Ancient dragon attacked. Unarmed or armored I couldn't do zip and the battle went on for about 20 minutes. I finally got a pause where I borrowed Serana's bow and arrows. Without archery augments it took another 15 minutes to bring down the dragon. It had 11 dragonbone arrows and 39 steel arrows in it.
Then off to thalmor embassy. Entering the Solar and the game crashed. I had a save just before the dragon swooped in and loaded it. A second long drawn out battle. Then off to the enbassy again and snuck out into the garden. Glitch time, Serana came along. I couldn't find her but heard her. Then she did a red glow on thalmor soldiers on the other side of the compound and instant second degree vamp message.
Reload again. Third battle then Serana and Delphine were unresponsive. Major game crash. Reloaded the earlier save in Solitude, encountered a bandit while going to see Delphine, I kept the PC way back and Serana did the red stuff. Again, instant vampire symptoms.
ROYAL PAIN IN THE *** several ways. But very exciting.
It's like the game is plotting against me doing a nice photo essay.

Having vampire-itis problems. The slightest red glow from any vampire in the area and the PC gets second stage vampire ick which reduces and mucks up stats and cannot be cured because the game doesn't recognize the condition. Many many save and reloads.
They compare the size of their testicles while the new recruit gets stuck with the job. About right.

Not off to the best start..... let me get a little better organized.
DB: "NO! WAIT! Where's the bleeping Dibella robe? NUTS!" S: "If you're trying to piss off every Daedra that's so much as glanced in the direction of Tamriel you're doing a fantastic job. What's next, Barbas in jockey shorts?."
Never ever ever hit Batch build in body slide. Now to replace the entirety of Skyrim with that back-up file.

I'm redoing the Dawnguard quest line. A revisit of the improved Serana. Might make it a photo essay if there is some interest in it.

I'm missing out on less dialogues now that I've installed Subtitles by kpvw (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/113214), which displays multiple dialogues on the screen at the same time. And there's also Dialogue History by powerofthree (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/114238?). Supports SE 1.5.97, AE 1.6.640, and AE 1.6.1170 and higher
That there are mods to catch all the dialogue demonstrates how much can get missed. Multiple followers exponentially complicates matters.

Hmmm. I've already got the Serana SDA mod. Maybe I should listen more carefully... Just a suggestion. I've always been running multiple companions always. I went alone with Rigmor then with Serana. I was so delighted by the SDA Serana dialogue I reloaded an earlier save with just her. I discovered with multiple followers you ALWAYS miss some dialogue. It's inevitable they will step on each others dialogues and sometimes actions. Usually a dialogue simply never triggers when the game detects a similar event is ongoing.

Many years ago I wake up in Anvil and didn't found Vilja nearby, so checked her position via markers and found her, along with Wolfgang, on the opposite side of the map, standing still on a road. I had that happen once. Escorting her father to Riften for the wedding, Vilja supposedly already in Riften with her family getting ready. On the road climbing up from the hot springs area south of Windhelm, standing on a rock off to the side, was Vilja in her underwear, standing still and non responsive. Reload game. Something got nicely toasted into charcoal. (Sad sad. I even had a screenshot of that, lost forever when Photobucket decided to shaft their customers.) Giving daddy to be the Skyrim tour, "And if we encounter your daughter in her underwear with a blank stare and nothing to say....." Oh fudge, now when did I last save?

Something tells me that once the Dawnguard stuff is completed, it might be a good idea to turn Serana loose. My group's big enough anyway. If you use Serana SDA, you would want to hold on to her. I have Serana, Rigmor, Auri, and the Interesting NPCs all tied-in to Nether's Framework. Agree! Serana SDA turns her from follower into a very valuable companion up there with Vilja in her comments. And please, pardon my comparison, makes her a more valuable companion than Vilja in a certain way. Vilja is somewhat the prude, while Serana SDA is gritty and more down to earth. Some of her comments take you by surprise so much you get slammed with 'WOW!! Where the heck did that come from?'. And the extra cake frosting is Serana being sarcastic, now and then smacking you upside the head with backhanded compliments: Courier, courier, courier, or courier? OR... a very rare comment from way way out in left field, sometimes extremely NSFW, leaving you with, ACK!! Did she really say that?? A couple of those comments that it would be easy to picture Vilja if she heard them giving a shriek and quickly leaving the room slamming the door behind her.

Sniffles: Glad you liked 'em. I see what you mean about the feet, though. I try to make all my shots a standard height, and feet often fall victim to cropping shots down to size. My thinking was it was better to crop than to resize the shot and lose detail. Lately I've been shooting from a little more distance; whether it will help much I don't know. Something to think about, anyway. Regarding Serana and vampirism: I have the PC carry lots of Cure Disease potions. Looking at professional model pictures they have mid chest, waist, and just above the knees cut off points. Below the knees it's full feet and the ground beneath. Always full head and framing above and to the sides equidistant.
Serana vamp glitch. It's weird. I suddenly get the notice blood boils in the sun. But cure disease had no effect, the full on vamp condition is listed BUT using the console it returns not having the condition and using the code to remove it doesn't work. Only fix is reload a save game. This has happened only minutes after I checked the PC and she had no disease.
As a test, we came out of Blackreach on an elevator and went down to a fort, 3 minutes walk. Attacked the fort, and the blood boils notice came up. Reloaded coming off elevator save and it happened four more times. Avoided the fort and went off in another direction and no disease. Getting in the fight triggered it.

OldRPMDaddy Excellent shots. Especially the archer. It captures the drama perfectly. According to the books I'm reading, the miss is not including the subjects feet. This is debated but what you have is three out of four ideal framing, top and sides, which contrasts with the bottom. I see what the book means but would really need to see a side by side comparison of feet included to determine which is more pleasing to the eye.
PS I'm glad I'm not the only one with motley composites of clothing and armor.
PPS I discovered Serana can infect the PC with vampirism accidentally. Just being near her when she fires that off can do it. Something in the settings of the PC.
