Thanks for the link! I've sort of skimmed it so far as I've got a headache, but it does look like there should be a dialogue option with one of the characters I mentioned that's missing. I'll try doing another circuit of the camp in case someone else has the line I need... Hope the mod's not broken, I'm really enjoying it so far... Ok I just completed the entire Julan Companion mod a month ago so I can help. There will be 2 or 3 more difficult circumstances that you will face. First there is nothing wrong with the mod at this point in your play however there is a script malfunction later on. The solution can be found at the official forums; read this page for the script problem and easy console command solution. This of course is not what you are talking about but you will run into it so I am mentioning it right now. You are stuck at the point where EVERYBODY gets stuck at. All over the internet everyone complains about this spot because you are told that you can't proceed and you are never told when you are able to proceed in the main quest. This will make more sense to you when you complete the next stage in Julan's quest. Ok so what is happening is that you can't go in the see Azura because you haven't completed an important part in Julan's main quest. Remember that Julan's quest is tied into the main quest. They are one in the same. Kateri likes to give crypted answers but I will just tell you ( I am assuming that you have already saved Shani right?) that you have to go and speak to the wise woman in Urshilaku Camp and go through all the dicussion topics and you will find one that you never clicked on before and that will start a new quest for you. You will get a journal update. If not then you have to go to Julan's mother and speak to her and then go to the wise woman in Urshilaku. If you have not saved Shani then you still have have a lot to do. You then have to get Julan drunk at any tavern (3-5 drinks should do it.) You may have to initiate this drinking conversation by speaking to Julan outside or inside one of the towns/cities but not the camps. When you go to the tavern Julan has a conversation topic that you can choose when you are in a bar called, "Want to get a drink" and that will set off a new sequence of events and quests. I also suspect you will have trouble finding an egg mine that is a vanilla egg mine but doesn't even show up on UESPwiki.net??? It is VERY VERY hard to find and I can only show you were it is by picture. I will post it at a later date hidden in a spoiler tab. You are nowhere near that quest anyway. I'll keep this thread in mind and check it a few times a week in case you need further help. Still this is my favourite Companion mod with Vilja right behind. The difference being the story and how Julan's quest enhance Morrowind's main quest. It is amazing and it doesn't end there.

Thank you! Okay, we've been to the cavern, Julan ran (teleported) away, but I've found him, phew! Back to the regularly scheduled running around playing politics, by the looks of it, for now! (Well, and the thing with the bones, but I want to get some other stuff done first, I've got a bunch of outstanding guild quests and such, too. It really is a fantastic mod, albeit a little frustratingly vague at times...

It really is a fantastic mod, albeit a little frustratingly vague at times... Running around and playing pollyticks... After my first play through I never went farther than the dungmer camps quests. I think I'm allergic to the word Hortator. It sounds like a very messy accident in a public restroom: "Don't go in there! Someone had a Hortator! The health and fire departments have been called and the Navy is sending in a platoon of SEALS." That translates as 2 years of Morrowind bliss, pollyticks free. The end game is about as anticlimactic as a Bugs Bunny cartoon anyway. But Llamasexia is pretty crunchy.

I think Amara is the type to be quite interested in the pollyticks, although she pretends to be annoyed by it all. Plus it's an excuse to find out a bit more about those intriguing Telvanni (she basically ran into Balmora, looked around, joined up with Hlaalu because they offered her a job, got to Sadrith Mora and went WOAH. Though tbh from what I know of the Telvanni [trying not to read up on them much as my next character's probably going to be a Telvanni and I don't want to spoil things too much] I don't think she'd like them very much, anyway.) I've been giggling at the word Hortator ever since Azura said it out loud and it sounded like Samwise Gamgee saying 'potato' quickly...

Have you ever played Emma's original companion Vila for Oblivion and complete the ingredients quests? There was one quest where you are serching for some sort of mushroom thingie that only grows at 3 or 4 places in the entire game! They were impossible to find LoL and they are done on purpose. Good mods shouldn't be easy. Also the issue here has more to do with MW's game engine than the mod itself. All the older games from that time worked like this; where you had to initiate conservation topics. But yeah... I feel ya... very frustrating. If you think this part was difficult wait... hehehe... I won't spoil it for you but soon the bones quest is coming... good luck with that! If you need help just ask. I spent a month trying to finish that quest The Telvanni questline is amazing and the mods that you can get to expand the quests are the best that you can find however it is better to play them on your second play through without playing the main quest.

Oh, I kind of lucked out with the bones, thankfully, as I'd have never figured out how to get through the barrier... Now in Dagon Fel, looking for a bed (poly relationships ftw!)
