I have all the current patches, completely up to date. How very odd. I would guess my install may be the problem. I'll download the CS again and start with a clean install.

I finally figured out the 'right click select Use Info' option to find a reference for an object. I know the MW CS extremely well, but not the OB CS. I don't know if you get the same, but I get many errors when I try to load the mod. Plus, I noticed the mod author made many changes to the mod for no apparent reason. Bad form (IMO). I just needed to know if the mod was a problem with certain issues, or my lack of knowledge. Seems to be a combo of both. One note: After playing with the CS some more I notice that when the 'Zelda-OoT-Equipment-Mod' is loaded, the CS acts as if there are open windows, even though there are not. Clicking on Open Windows none are displayed, and thus none to close. But again, the CS acts as if there are open windows. Very odd. Not sure if anyone gets this same result or not. If not, it may be just me (and a bad download). I have downloaded the Zelda mod and opened it in the construction set. I don't get any oddities, no error messages, no strange CS-behaviour, nothing. I do see that the author has made some really bad changes of vanilla containers. Searching for objects work just fine. I can save without problems. Could it be that you have not installed meshes and textures properly and that this is causing the error messages? What do the error messages say?

Ha ha, I was going to click the prntscrn button to take a pic of the errors, but my laptop doesn't have that key (or does, but I don't know which one is it).
I get an error that states, "Missing object (XXXXXXXXX) for reference (XXXXXXXXXX). Continue playing? 'Yes to All' will disable all warnings this session"'
It gives me four in a row as it loads the mod. Never bothered trying to figure out which objects.
Meshes and textures are where they should be, I don't think that's it.
As for not being able to save, if I click the save button or Save in the menu nothing happens. If I exit I get asked if I want to save the file. Click Yes, nothing happens. Click No and I exit the CS.
Note: the problem ONLY occurs with this file, and does not seem to affect any other files I have or make.
I though maybe the mod was corrupt somehow. So I cleaned it out, and downloaded it again. Nope. Same results.
I was going to re-install the CS, but it works fine with every other mod, so I don't think that's it either.

I would reinstall the meshes and textures again, maybe something still got wrong when installing those. I didn't have one little tiny issue with opening this mod. No error messages, no problems to save changes, nothing. I also checked dependancies, and it's only dependant on Oblivion itself. The only thing I can think of is if the meshes and textures indeed aren't properly installed. Try and place the objects somewhere and see how it looks, if it is something there or just an exclamation mark.

You may be on to something Emma. All objects look fine in the CS, but when I went in game to see them, they were invisible. The objects were there, just couldn't be seen. I was able to pick them up, see them in inventory, equip them, and see them when used (weapons and shield). I drop them on the ground, and 'poof' they are gone. So I believe its the gnd textures that are the problem. Now, I went and checked them out, they are in the correct folder, etc. But I think they may be corrupted somehow. The game for some reason just can't connect the texture to the .nif file (else I couldn't interact with the objects at all). I'll figure it out.

Have you got nif-skope? You have to ensure that the pathway is the same in your folders as in the origiinal mod. Maybe you changed the pathway? It sounds as if the meshes are correctly placed but the pathways to the textures are wrong. niftools.sourceforge.net/wiki/NifSkope
