Thanks Wulfren's not as hard on Constance as a lot of NPCs. When we go "shopping" I will make sure that Constance and I pick up plenty of Silver spoons. Regards, A.

...I reserve the right to disagree with you about Julan and Shani, however. I think encouraging that relationship would be tantamount to pushing survivors back into the smoking remains of a car crash and throwing more petrol on it, but it's your game! In any case, I wish your character and Wulfren all the best. I still wish you would write more Shani so I could agree or disagree with you. I have lost Julan a few times and she gets terribly upset and hurt. Hint...Hint ...Hint Regards, A.

Okay. So I married Wulfren and planned a life of domesticity as the Lady of Lokken, managing the household, raising kids and interceding for the poor. My char has had a rough life and it seemed like she deserves a little luxury. Damned if Wulfren doesn't want to do some adventuring. (I've got a lot of unfinished quests.) Can a girl get a break? In practical terms, how does Wulfren get along in Vvardenfell?

Shani is great fun to write for, and I have a lot of affection for her as a character. (It's more for her benefit than for Julan's that I discourage their reunion!) It's just that my life is kind of a smoking ruin right now, and modding hasn't been something I've had the energy for for a long time. Someday! If you want Moar Shani, she does have a (sporadically updated) Oblivion Journal!. K.

I'd like for Shani take up for Constance more like Julan comes to like her. (Julan's always nice about Constance after a while). If she could say, " You son of a Guar! she's beens fighting Ash Vampires and you quibble about pennies!" when you hear "I know a thief when I see one...etc." after your chars take out an Ash Vampire or two. Is that simple? Regards, A. PS I'm sorry to hear about your personal problems, and I wish you only the blessings of the mother that guides us all. Regards, A.

This is not as much a hint request as a list of bugs I have found. Getting such nice work for free, the least I can do is to report bugs... First, this mod is incredibly bugfree. Shouldn't be unusual for a v2.1, but I have seen mods where the new versions are way worse than the old ones, despite no real content added... This is not one of them. (1) NPC aa_VonSchlepp00000000: typo 'unconcious' in dialogue 'RAGNAR HAS GOT THE KEY'. (2) NPC aa_Laurenna00000000: typos in dialogue 'YOU HAVE SAVED MY LIFE' - missing whitespaces after commas and dots. (3) The name of NPC aa_VonSchlepp00000000 is missing a whitespace, or else all mentions of him in dialogue and books should have the whitespace removed. (4) NPC aa_Maria00000000 barters, but neither has anything to say nor has any gold. (5) I don't really like the idea of the main quest having no quest names; they can get lost in the journal too easily. In some cases I would even favor adding some finishing stages that can only be achieved after the next quest has begun, because it is too easy to lose track of the main questline between two of its parts (for example, I talked to Gwenn, completing quest AA_Wolf, but forgot to trigger all of the dialogue topics necessary to start the next one, AA_Ragnar). (6) "skeleton archer" is a rather treacherous leveled creature. Most often it will shoot some arrows doing some elemental damage, which shouldn't pose much of a threat to players above level 10 or so. Sometimes, however, it has paralysis arrows ("grey shaft of holding"), making it a rather serious enemy. Two paralysis skeleton archers along with a couple of berserkers can be a danger to level 50 players. Unless you want the difficulty of the tombs to depend on luck that much, I'd recommend replacing these skeleton archers by something else (such as skeleton archers with a slightly changed l_m_wpn_missle_arrow, with the paralysis arrows removed). (7) Another matter of balancing, highly subjective again: It is NOT difficult in Morrowind to break a 100 lock, even at low levels. There are these scrolls, for example. The rewards of breaking the lock to "Solstheim, LoKKen Castle Shaman's Room" are worth the one open-100 scroll in any case, and much more. If I were you, I would at least add a trap to that door, maybe even a scripted one that spawns wolves or daedra (he is a shaman after all). But as I said, this is subjective, I am not you, and you probably have good reasons to do otherwise. (8) I tried hard to break the mainquest, and I succeeded. My save is uploaded above. What I did (wrong) is this: At quest AA_Bargirl stage 60, instead of talking to Laurenna and giving her the chameleon ring, I went straight into the castle hall and killed Kreikan along with some guards. Then I still didn't talk to Laurenna, but instead went into her house and slept on her band. Two Ragnar guards attacked and got killed (this should trigger AA_Kreik1 stage 30, but it didn't, probably because I was doing everything out of order). I slept again, and AA_Kreik1 stage 40 did trigger. Outside the cottage, Wulfren appeared and helped me fight the two new guards. Then I went for revenge and killed Ragnar in the castle (who was aggressive, so it didn't count as assault), setting AA_Kreik1 to stage 70. Everything went fine until the end. Now, Wulfren is chieftain, but Laurenna STILL has that "news from Gwenn" topic that I avoided all the time. I can still avoid it, of course, but if I don't, I get the answer "Is Kreikan dead already?? But.. but... %PCName... You went to the castle without me?", she puts on her Chameleon spell and (I think) she starts going into the castle (or so it seems), although there is nothing more to do (her mother is rescued already). OK, the latter part is not really reproducible, but that "news from Gwenn" topic probably still shouldn't be there. Treat this as a very minor blemish. Attachments:

I realize the last post was a little under 3 years ago. However, I just recently got back into Morrowind after a many year hiatus from the Elder Scrolls series. I played in the past with a heavily modded game and will continue to do so in the future. I just wanted to say, to Emma and those who helped her in this mod (If there were any), that you've done a remarkable job. I am truly impressed with the Island of Lokken.

Thank you There certainly are others than me involved in this mod, too. First of all, it is Teutonic (nowadays he calls himself von Schlepp on the forums) who have created the whole Island; I have merely made the quest, dialog, personalities etc. So, it's really thanks to him that this mod at all exists. I have then also had help from The Other Felix, CDCooley and Grumpy with the companion scripts.

Now in Lokken - wonderful. Thank you for giving so much pleasure to so many. Very best wishes from a 59 year old going on 15.

Hi Emma!
I realize I'm a latecomer to the forums. I played through many of your mods years ago, and now I'm good and thoroughly stuck on White Wolf of Lokken Mountain. It's embarrassing because I played through it once before, married Wulfren, and all that jazz.
Well, here I am playing it again, and Laurenna has been kidnapped and Wulfren and I are trying to find her. The only place I can really think to go is the Throne Room, but if I do that then I get accused of a crime every time I hit someone, so apparently that's no good. By the time I'm done, I'm a notorious outlaw and no one wants to talk to me. This is after I sleep, give Wulfren the Chameleon Amulets, etc.
Another weird thing is the the Master Bedroom Key mysteriously vanished from my inventory. I literally had to go back to a slightly older save, throw the key on a bed, figure out its code, and add it through the console.
Btw, other than where I'm stuck, I really, really enjoy your mods. High quality stuff! I've also got the Witchgirl and am going through her quests when there are lulls in the action on Solstheim.

Laurenna is in the dungeon, the jail area in the lower area of the castle.
Edit: Talk to Von Schlep

Emma, just finished the MQ in WWOL. Great Mod!! Exceptional work. Thank You. After I help out the locals, I'm gonna marry Laurenna and move her into to my manor on the Odai Plateau.

I recently decided to play Morrowind (again) and i downloaded several mods from "Emma". I enjoyed the Wolf of Lokken but i have only one quest that i can't complete.
Ingegerd's glove. I tried everything (detect enchantment, higher/lower resolution, etc.). Can you please give a location so i can scratch that from my journal? Thank you in advance.
