Okay, so as I am playing a character for a creative story, I run across the Nord in Peligiad.... he has no face... and nothing I have done will give him one.. he simply refuses... the warning text says it can't find his face mesh, despite the very same mesh being where it should... and despite no other Nords having this issue.... what is with some NPCs? I found this rather comical after I realized it was strictly him... anyone else ever have this sort of oddity? If so, what was it? I am curious now.

Errr, maybe use the console and move him to the one with no clothes then just avoid that area? "MY EYES! MY EYES!"

I have all the textures it can't find... so no clue what's wrong, why it can't find them... oh the joys of Morrowind, still funny though to see a faceless Nord... IMO he looks better that way anyway...

I'm sure someone here will check in and pin point it for you. I ended up having to reload my game. If you have a mod that changes faces that is probably the place to start.

Yeah I have MGSO, but that's the only once that changes them, I am fairly certain that it's due to another mod I installed recently, but then again I could just install one of the face packs here, that might solve it. Thanks for the input, if there is another work around, it would be nice Still, that one Nord looks better without his face.... I'm a terrible person..

Update, yeah, there are a FEW corrupted files in my game, not from a mod either... I can fix the problem by just swapping the textures with new ones that they weren't using before as a self made mod, or use some backup files I have stowed away... however... that Nord was very bad looking, so I will make a new face thanks for pointing out it could be corruption. They don't load in the CS at all even with no mods, and the files have been corrupted, so at least I know!

An indicator things are not well in the game and time to reload it.

I do have a lot of mods, like Children of Morrowind, and Hurd and Beryl installed, and a few others that I don't want to lose along with my save game for my blog story.Never had this issue until I uninstalled Balmora expanded, because it kept crashing my game...

All I do is install the basic game into the existing directory on top of the old files. None of the additions you have installed get touched. Maybe somebody else has some nifty tricks but that is what works for me. I don't see the reason for deleting the old files as they are always replaced. Oh yes. Make certain you add all the patches the old game had, or newer ones. If you don't apply all the patches and updates that it had it will be a horrible mess at best and most likely won't even run.

I thank you kindly, if it happens further, I will certainly do that, as long as I have my mods like CoM, I'll be happy Edit: Oh my... I just remembered I have a back up of nothing other than a vanilla Morrowind in a folder right next to my normal install.... well now... that might help
