Whoah, Vilja has a unique entry in Sensual Walks for her!!!! o.O The only problem is that the default one is too much ugly, she looks like a priest. >=P Priests have sensual walks??! Would that be an oxymoron? Well maybe it would make sense for priests of Dibella. I'm trying to imagine what that would look like.

You can resurrect her via the console, but everything in her inventory will be gone for good. (So if you have invested most of your money in outfits for her, I'd definitely go for a reload instead)

Not as much hiprolling as with most other walking-styles, I would say

blockhead, not all walks in "Sensual Walks" are sensual. Some are more normal walks, some are slowlier, others faster. If you use that mod, beggars, for example, aren't going to swing their hips, exept if you choose it when you install it.
Oh, I got used to that walk for Vilja, I think I'll let her that way. And if you want to ressurect someone without losing all their stuff write in the console "resurrect 1" (without commas) with the number "1" the items usually don't disappear. But keep a save file ready if that don't work. =P

Could be caused by something adding a token to her. take all the objects you have given to her, put on the console, select her and type resurrect. This will reset her inventory, deleting any token.
If this didn't help, try crossing that door without Vilja in tow. If the crash happens anyway, it has nothing to do with Vilja. Try unchecking mods until you find the cause.
Well, I assume you are having crashes every time you try to cross that door.

Also, have you got a mod installed that allows you to wear extra rings and amulets? If so, make sure Vilja doesn't have any extra rings, I have heard reports before about this causing crashes.
If you are using a custom version of Vilja, check so that it is made for ver 3 of Vilja and not for previous versions (shouldn't cause any crashing issues, though).
Also, if you try the resurrect, make sure that Vilja after that is wearing a vanilla outfit when heading for the Market district (as the crash could be caused by some modded equipment she is wearing or carrying).

the first time i use Vilja i use a custom version but since i want it to play the original i start the new game, at this point she dosent have yet any armor, i try leave her behinde and then cross the door i return for her take it and was perfect no crash...but when i fast travel it crashes i noticed that the problem may be the number of companions that follow me, when i have only Vilja and Dairanath evrething goes perfect but if the horse of dairanath my horse and the anoying fan comes when fast travel it crashes... is wierd 0_o

Try the resurrect command on all your companions and horses (remember that their equip will be reseted, so, take from them any item they didn't start with, before resurrecting them). This should eliminate any token.
Though this didn't seem the case, companions with wigs, helmets or other head equipment, may cause crash when fast travelling.

Greetings Emma When I read this list regarding of cleaned or uncleaned mods and my question is. Does Vilja 3.0 or newer needs cleaning in TES4Edit? If it does need to be clean I suppose that you refer to the automatic cleaning and not to the manual. Correct? Thanks in an advance. ;D

Vilja's pretty much the coolest mod I've ever downloaded and she's made me see Cyrodil in much more detail by making me slow down and smell the roses. My wife, daughter and son also can't do without her now.
I humbly have a few suggestions,
She seems to have really bad timing for deciding she's tired of me making the decisions. Somwtimes just before we're going to finish up the big bad for a quest etc. My only dialoge option other than to agree with her is pretty abrupt. Maybe something like "after we're done here' Or "We're kind of in the middle of something" would be nice.
I've had her run around in circles when she takes the lead. Especially when I say surprize me she gets really confused even in the lowlands. I don't know if that's solvable.
It seems you're just a couple of dialogue entries from a romance to me. I don't mean overt sex. I actually can do without that. Just a follow up on " You're more than a friend top me" stuff. As it is I'm happy though.

She will have a way better navigation skills if she start leading from a road. Besides, she'll have greater problems leading in areas with many obstacles or badly pathgrided (from mods).

Is there any way that Vilja can reference to real time. I was just thinking that if she could, she could know holidays or birthdays. I'm just trying to learn how to mod but if its like scripting in visual basic, there could be dialog where you can tell her special dates that she could remember.

I'm starting to make my own companion mod (with two sisters as companions, so they can interact with each other as well as with the player). That means I'm looking for pointers on how to do it well.
I'm curious as to how you came up with the "tell me about yourself" dialog that progresses through the quest. The script mechanics aren't difficult, but getting the revelation of the character to pace with the rest of the quest can't have been easy. Did you just write down all the things you wanted her to tell you and then sort them into order, and have the result drive the quest, or did the quest come first, and the dialog was written to fit?

Actually, I didn't plan a lot... I just continued as things came into my head. Her story sort of wrote itself, like it usually does. It was the same with Morrowind companions and questmods - after a while the characters sort of "took over" and started to live their own life.
Often, Vilja and other characters have really surprised me by doing and saying things I hadn't expected them to!
