There is NO way the mod labeled Elsweyr Anequina Mar 2014.rar is all of the mod. My original copy is over 400mb. My install is from two files: Elsweyr Anequina Mar 2014.rar (35meg) ElsweyrAnequinaMeshesTextures.rar (369meg) The first file says I need the second file, but neither mentions necessity of any other file. ("1. You also need to download and install the Elsweyr Anequina Meshes and Textures resource file from this site. 2. You must have your in-game borders disabled or you won't be able to reach the new region. See the installation instructions to learn how. 3. This version of the mod is not compatible with the Unofficial Elsweyr Anequina Patch. So do not later install that patch. 4. If you have the 2010 version of this mod installed and the Unofficial Elsweyr Anequina Patch please follow the installation instructions or your game will become unstable (both of these need to be uninstalled and a clean save made before installing this version of the mod).") Okay...that sounds better. I uploaded the original, though. It works just fine and can blend with the Valenwood mod. Just click on the spoiler I left.

... I was really surprised when I started getting into the Construction Set how much was simply never put into the stock Oblivion game. ... This is true of so many games. One of my favorite mods for Torchlight II is "Extra Chunky", which tags dozens of unused dungeon blocks for the game to use, adding more variety to the map quests. And occasionally the opposite happens - an object is in the game for no reason. For example, in a cavern in Morrowind you will find the "Pool of Forgetfulness"; apparently the developers drank from this as there is no quest, scripting, or anything else associated with this pool; it exists, with a name and no apparent purpose. And I wonder how many hours were wasted by players seeking a non-existent door in Hexen (there's an old title) after activating a switch which gave the message "a door has been opened".

You can actually find Lynda Carter in one of the test worlds in Oblivion.

To add...yeah....same deal with Oblivion. Like, what's up with the horses at the Chestnut handy Stable? The stable girl tells you they've run off and the orc eats them...surly a quest is missing. And Glarthir...is killing him the ONLY real option? That man is bipolar and needs help for goodness sake. Oh well...that's what the CS is for.

Lol, my major complaint with the demise of Glarthir is that it leaves a nice house abandoned, and the player cannot use it (without cheating).

Lol, my major complaint with the demise of Glarthir is that it leaves a nice house abandoned, and the player cannot use it (without cheating). My other in Psycho Kitty mode has gone to incredible lengths to find ways to engineer Glarthir's demise. Some of her better one include several ways to send him sailing off Dive Rock, cramming him through the Strange Door to Shivering Isles - usually instant death, drowning him in assorted locations feeding him to various local wildlife and having select NPCs and guards pummel him. He's the apex of her Oblivion play enjoyments. IMHO her best one to date, which took her two days to set up and arrange, was a 2 story tall buxom relatively anatomically correct naked NPC woman that, using Mehrunes Dagon animation stomped him to death. If the game didn't crash first. (Her learning curve with the CK) I think we have a library of about 50 saved games dedicated to Glarthir demise.

That's funny. To see the really funny stuff, one needs to install the Lovers System which is pretty much like giving Star Trek's Data his emotion chip as far as NPCs go. Plus it gives you a whole new reason to flee from that Ogre!

That sounds... horrible. I'll mention it to Kitty. Gads I miss her psychotic binges. She had just started destroying Shivering Isles.

That sounds... horrible. I'll mention it to Kitty. Gads I miss her psychotic binges. She had just started destroying Shivering Isles. I did that once a longtime ago...decided to go evil and went on rampage. No much can stop you if you're determined. A whole flock of guards, perhaps. However, my build of Oblivion has way too many powerful NPCs that would cook my bacon if I tried such a thing now... As far as the Lovers System...it's pretty advanced and hates BOSS and Wrye Bash. There are good tutorials on the forum. Plus, it is rated R to XXX depending how many of the extras one goes for. So it's not for the kids. The team over at Lovers Labs, however, are some of the best modders for both Skyrim and Oblivion. They were having some website issues but I think they are fixed. I view the whole system as just another immersion factor like an eating/sleeping/bathing mod. Plus it is fully open to customization to suit the player. One single friend of mine who was desperate to see all the sex that was rumored in the mod was busy hitting on any female he came across. They all turned him down and one reported him to the guards. Sort of like real life...LOL.

I recall we checked out LL in the past. After looking things over Squishy remarked, 'This must be where -they- all lurk. I'm a little worried this place is going to get the monitor sticky.'

Yes, I assume it would get some raised eyebrows from some quarters. However, from the modding/scripting end of things it is on the cutting edge. Plus, as this forum also tries to be, LL is a 'safe place'. Several of the design group are female and the moderators are very fierce.

Re the VERY old comments about Oblivion gates, Quazzy produced a mod that removes closed gates from the map (and also adds them again if they re-open), along with "Dousing the Flames", that doesn't actually remove the gates, but does at least put out the fires. They're both on TES Nexus.
Also, if you want to skip the main quest entirely, use PrinceShroob's Main Quest Delayer. I used it with my last character, took him up to Level 45 and a Fame of 66 without a single Oblivion Gate opening! Not only that, I could visit the Temple of the One to see the Dragonfires burning.

However, there are mods that prevent that...
