Since I struggled for hours to fix this glitch I think it might deserve a thread here too.
Maybe it will help others to find this solution sooner.
From the "Vilja Chaconne" of the Nexus Forums:

anyway for others who want vilja chaconne at 100 weight with no neck seam its pretty simple.
1st get vilja all set up using this mod, You get her to change ingame? good on to step 2
2nd go into tes5edit with this mod, find npc section, then vilja, change her weight to 100.
3rd dl the chaconne follower manually the 1.3 version here www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37869/?
4th open it up go to options select nonelf ear 100 copy 000012C4.NIF to viljas facegeom folder and rename it to 00000d67 (youll have to delete the prev one)
and your done:)
thx again to deane been trying to change viljas appearance to something appealing forever with no success
What he means is:
1. Install the Vilja & Vilja in Solstheim mods. Install the Chaconne Follower. Install Vilja Chaconne. Install the Chaconne Customizer. In this order, following each mods' instructions.
Once you've got her custom looks ingame proceed to 2.
2. Open Mod Organizer. Via Mod Organizer start up TES5Edit. Leave only the Chaconne Vilja mod selected on the popup list.
On the left side look for the "Non-Player-Characters" section. Open it down. Find Vilja (on the top!). Double left click to edit.
On the right side keep rolling down almost completely to the bottom til you see "NAM7 - Weight". Click on the values of that line and set them to 100.
Exit TES5Edit & choose save.
3. (Download the Chaconne Follower mod) You must have this already see 1.
4. Open the compressed folder of "Chaconne Follower". Find inside it the "nonelf ear 100" folder. From there copy/drag the 000012C4.NIF file.
Navigate to the Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Mod Organizer\mods\Chaconne Vilja\meshes\actors\character\FaceGenData\Facegeom\EMCompViljaSkyrim.esp folder!
Put the 000012C4.NIF in here. Make a backup save of the original 00000d67.nif if you wish. Then delete it. Now rename the 000012C4.NIF to 00000D67.NIF.
The neckgap should be gone now.
