Hi Emma,
I've been using your Red Rose Manor mod in my latest campaign. It's in the perfect location, and so well-appointed – in fact, probably the only home a person would ever need (except for Benirus Manor, as it's a long way to Anvil). The bookcases are a godsend - no more messing about with book placement mods.
As for Chico the pack donkey – what can I say? Now I can hit two or three dungeons before having to head back to town to sell the loot. If only I could remember to tell him to wait outside the shops!
I've also downloaded Children of Cyrodiil, and it's just what Oblivion needs to add life to the cities. I've tried using Crowded Cities, but it's no fun being jumped by a Level 15 vampire during your first session. This is much better – more faces, more realism, and not a vampire in sight.
Having given the new characters a look in the CS, I've noticed a few minor errors. I've made the necessary changes to my own .esp file, but I thought you should know – my apologies if you've already dealt with them:
Petrius Penele – surname should be Peneles.
Irini Hlaren – Lives in the Imperial Bridge Inn, but has a key to the Newlands Lodge in Cheydinhal.
Tilanu Lythanda – surname should be Lythandas.
Helene Metric – surname should be Metrick (also, her mother is a Breton – not sure if this makes any difference).
JTsari – I think this should be J'Tsari.
The outfit “1EMAARangerWarm” worn by Helene Metrick and Lina covers the hands, but has no glove texture. As a result, the girls' hands are invisible.
The above is an example of why people with OCD should not engage in modding - I started a mod to improve the Fighters' Guild equipment, and it's turned into a full-blown supplement to the UOP. You wouldn't believe some of the things I've found. Did you know that Bandit Archers have Blunt as a major skill, despite all those in Tamriel being armed with daggers?
Anyway, enough of my rambling - looking forward to being a part of the community!
