I think would have heard if they did. If nothing else from the people who always complain at any change.

Heard there is a Steam SSE beta update now, which will be on the general channel next month, it will include the SSE Survival mode features.

Time to turn off automatic updates till we know exactly what the update will do. There has been enough bitching and moaning about the Fall out update breaking things just so Creation Club is supported.

Agreed naramoore So does the Windows "seek a solution" ever actually work or is a placebo to jerk us around?

Well I have %&*()%$(#@ gremlins! So I tried the SKSE alpha and had issues so deleted everything, played for days then had this crash issue. STEP forum suggested registration issue as well as the load order of masters. So I'm looking around and WTF my cleaned esm's appear to be gone. I know I followed a guide but that one seems to be no longer up on Youtube but gopher has updated his TES5edit guide which is a different file system than the one I did. At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Also might explain missing video.............ooops a flaw maybe? I'm just going with gremlins randomly flerbaling shit up.

I have been looking through all the forums I could find googling but nothing relates. I posted to the MO2 support forum to see if anyone has a solution. In the process of looking I found I did a zip folder of a cleaned Skyrim Se after I installed MO2! I'm going to run it and see if it works but wither it does or not if anyone knows what this issue is I'd still be interested in the answer. Oh and found MO2 2.0.8.3 aip on Github Ok that didn't work. Did Bethsoft update SSE? Yes they did, for Creation Club.

I believe that update is must in beta. So at this point 1.5 update is still in the oven. But we will be seeing it soon.

SSE has now been update to version 1.5.3 USSEP has reved to keep up. Bleeding edge people will also have to rev their SKSE alpha version. And yank their SKYUI 5.1 the patch changed the UI some and broke the new version. Will test the 2.2 version tonight but my guess it will be okay. Edit: SKYUI reved to 5.2 to correct problems. It doesn't support survial but works with 1.5.3 again.
Time to clean your masters again.

I wonder if that update will have a negative effect on non-SKSE Special Edition mods? The Creation Club has zero and maybe even negative interest for me.

The answer is yes. Vivid Weather has already reved to correct some problem with particles. To what extent, I don't know. Fortunately I have backups. Tonight, I will back my current install up before I let the upgrade take place.
Edit: Achievement Enabler has also reved.
SKSE64 appears to surface more problems, dormant and broken code is now running. Frostfall and Campfire are running into that problem.

Besides only playing off line is there a way of keeping Steam from updating the game. i want to control that not them. Windows 'seek a solution' is the offspring of the stillborn 'Help'. If it ever actually worked your computer would instantly die of shock. Steam Update. My techy has an elegant solution for numerous update requests. It sends the program to a web site that accepts requests but otherwise does absolutely nothing (similar to Windows help I would guess) then adds a continue-on-while-waiting snippet of code. Sort of like telling a 2 year old who persists in asking a question over and over and over and over, "Yes. It's forty two. Or maybe not. Did you bring me a florg? Where's the florg? Where's your florg? When is it?"

Looks like I will be playing off line for awhile. Both SSE Fixes and Skyrim Uncapper have problems with the new patch. (Both are preload DLLs)
Edit: Tooooooooo................ Late....................
