Looks like I will be playing off line for awhile. Both SSE Fixes and Skyrim Uncapper have problems with the new patch. (Both are preload DLLs) Edit: Tooooooooo................ Late.................... Yep too late I ended with a CTD opening the map as well as uncapper notice of wrong skyrim.exe.. So damn tired of Bethsoft. Purged everything and am starting from a total reinstall of SE, even got the license window. Get the stupid survival notice and my game goes to hell. While I'm addicted to Tamriel, Bethsoft will have to suck my ^&** before I buy anything from them again. Way down hill from the incredible "Elder Scrolls". Off line mod it is. Zipping the base game as I type this.

I get the uncapper message. I am using Paper World Map and have had no CTDs using it. Even so there are serious questions about if "SSE Fixes" works as intended with the patch. There have been comments by Meh321 yet.
The patched SkyUI 2.2 runs fine, no surprise.
I am still waiting on further news with SKSE and SkyUI 5.2. My game is not broken so I am not going to fix it till there is a reasonable certainty that it will stay stable and I gain something significant.

If you have a CTD when using the map or fast traveling this is probably a problem with "SSE Fixes" to correct the problem change ReplaceFormMap=1 to ReplaceFormMap=0 in FPSFixPlugin.ini. This will also probably negate the primary reason for using SSE Fixes, that is you will probably lose the FPS gain it gives you.

Or use Paper Map. It doesn't fault at least by my experience and one other person.
And sorry about the reinstall. Lost time it took me two weeks to get things running right again. I had to start thinking about it like "This is a puzzle, solving it will be fun."
Also watch for a new SSEedit appearing soon. There are new errors in the master files and some record changes which need to be addressed for the 1.5.3 patch.

naramoore I'm pretty sure but can't prove it but I feel SKSE apha pooped on my system. After I pulled it out was when I couldn't get SE to run with either mod managers. Also I could not get MO2 to make any folders writable when I reinstalled so it just shut down SE. Now that might just be a WIN7 screw up, after all Microsoft makes such stable platforms............................or all the frikkin crashes of LOOT, SSEEdit and Wrybash run through MO2. I'm debating what I'm going to do with Skyrim SE, run it now with mods or just play vanilla till SKSE comes out in a non beta form. Or maybe Nexus gets it's shit together and releases Vortex. Not holding my breath on MO2 getting stable anytime soon. It's crazy we finally get a stable Skyrim and the managers are crap while Bethsoft keeps updating the game for crap (savage). Not being tech savvy I'm held for ransom to whats available and I really liked what I had running in Skyrim SE before this mess. I will not reinstall Oldrim cause why work with a seriously flawed 32 bit version? On the up side I'm looking at a verrrry uncluttered desktop lulz.
p.s. a clean Win 7 takes 2-3 hrs to do the updates so you can install current games and Teamspeak. 163!

I haven't touched the SKSE alpha or SkyUI 5.2. I have had to start Rigmor three times from the beginning and I DON'T want to blow up my build. Not over an Alpha. Besides deal with one variable at a time. The variable being the CC patch.

p.s. a clean Win 7 takes 2-3 hrs to do the updates so you can install current games and Teamspeak. 163! This is why everyone should do periodic backups. Over the years, Windows has become more difficult to (re)install. I've messed my windows up at least once in the past year and *poof* a half hour later was running, freshly restored from the backup "image".

Yeah I changed settings on my WD backup drive using WD's backup software and it deleted the backup without warnings not the schedule. Have to find a better solution. Yeah should google that now almost done getting essentials installed. Just need my cad program and all it's backup files.

Happy Happy Joy Joy!!!!!!!! So Rin says f'in yeah it was a screwed up Windows issue!. It definitely has put World Domination back by several days. We were able to load Skyrim with MO2 this morning with the new install. I'm just livid when I think how badly Microsoft has us by the privates with an OS that has always been prone to catastrophic failure, which they never seem to fix! Definitely not touching SKSE till it's way more stable.

It is sounding pretty stable, but no with so many things in flux it is not a good time to add another variable.

It definitely has put World Domination back by several days. Word. Were it not for games and one or two legacy programs, I would not even run Windows.

Sooo I'm probable going to rebuild my mods this weekend. I had followed soem of the STEP guide before but I'm not excited about using any Oldrim files in SE. Anyone wanna share their mod list with me if it's in Win 7. Win 10 does too much different and somethings don't want to cross over?

I used a highly modified BOSS install this last time. BOSS is heavy on city overhauls. This is profile 1: with 170+ mod with merged and bash patch. Then I cut out AI changing mods, city upgrades, iNPC, immersive armor, and apocalypse magic, to increase compatibility with Rigmor. Which leaves mostly things that make the game look prettier. This is profile 2: With 60+ enabled mods. This profile may have some loose scripts over writing vanilla scripts due to the mod they come from being "inactive" but installed i.e. they were installed but the ESP is not enabled. I have that weirdness because I use NMM I don't trust it to do full profiles where you actually switch what is installed. Only to switch what is activated.
Unless Vortex comes out and looks good, next time I do a full install I may take the time and learn to use Wyre/Bain.
I use Win 10, so will not share the exact mod lists.
