So it's been a while and I felt I should let people know I'm still in Tameriel. I have moved into the mountains of Arizona and have no internet. It's 13 mile to closest store with it or 23 miles to McD's. I can wait till midnight to get on my neighbors satellite internet to be able to download anything. Not having a laptop means I am restricted to not really doing anything community wise. I have 3 backups of my Skyrim LE and SE so I'm able to play.

Well, it's good you can at least play Skyrim. How's your acclimation to no internet?

I'm doing ok. It does require planning when I go to town. It becomes a social event. Get food, chat, surf and grab videos of Amazon prime. I did this for work for a long time. It's going back to my lifestyle when I worked in the mountains for 2 decades . Life is compromises.

Seems that such a situation, with its reduction of distractions, would be perfect for starting a new, large, project. Something like installing and learning Linux (an offline-install distro, like Slackware) or working with a freeware game engine (download docs ahead of time ) to make a new game. Or mod for Morrowind or whatever. Or writing a story.

Glad your doing well. I moved onto other games for awhile. Now I am back to Skyrim doing a "Beyond Reach" run.
