Textures, particularly for armor, are gender specific? The skin textures, yes. Male & female use different textures. I guess it would then depend on whether the cuirass showed any skin.

Usually, the armor has a little bit of skin...but if not, it would work. However the shape of the cuirass is often visibly male or female...but, if you don't mind broad shoulders...no problem.

The Simple Portable Tent is slightly largish and it's basically furnished inside, but it certainly isn't a mansion and there isn't any Tardis effects going on since the inside is the same size as the outside. It's the kind of tent you'd set up if you're going to be doing things in a particular area for a few days and want a home base to come back to. There are some other smaller tents on Nexus, but this is the one I've found that suits me best. I can e.mail the .rar file to you if you like if going on Nexus is a problem. My Nexus issues started when I changed computers; suddenly they wanted me to solve a captcha to log in ...but there was no captcha on the page. Sent them an email, they apparently didn't believe me, sent a screenshot, they had no ideas beyond the "usual suspects" (delete cookies, clear cache, etc.), which i'd already done. Several weeks of this led me to the conclusion I was dealing with imbeciles, so I gave up. This morning, out of curiosity, I tried again; no captcha ...but a popup informing me my account had been deactivated because i had not logged in for six months. I immediately sent a message expressing my concerns about the probable close familial relationship and lack of marital status of the immediate forebears of whoever maintains their site and urged them to review our previous correspondence (and displayed great restraint in not urging them to other, physically impossible, acts). I am back on Nexus. Downloaded that tent; I like that it is companion friendly, though my first thought on viewing the screenshots was, "when you strike camp, what happens to that wooden cabinet?" lol Haven't played Oblivion in a few months, went back about a month ago and was thoroughly confused; I had started a new character and completely forgotten what skills and spells they had, where they were in quests, so decided to return when I felt like getting reacquainted. But with my sojourn in Boston behind me and summer definitely upon us (how I loathe hot weather) perhaps it is time.

I look on all the furniture inside the tent as being dealt with in the same way as if you had a Bag of Holding. This is a world where magic and enchanted objects are commonplace so I decided to accept the tent as being a possible portable object on those terms. I hear what you're saying about going back to Oblivion after a break away. After three years away it took me a while to get used to everything again. And as for picking locks, - I'd entirely lost my touch for this and after breaking eight lockpicks to open an easy lock I was starting to wonder what was wrong with me.

I'll most probably leave the armour as it is and just put up with the breast size. It's a really nice set of armour and quite rare for an Oblivion mod in that it's feminine without showing any skin. The male version is likely to be shaped all wrong for a female character and wouldn't fit the rest of the armour set without gaps and clipping so I've decided it would be a complete non starter.

Eiolynn fought the evil sorceress in Underpall cave to get the enchanted female lich gear from her. It was a pretty hard fight and it's always interesting when two combatants using Undead type weapons and magic are facing each other off because they tend to be mutually immune to the magic and enchantments that are in play. Eiolynn's use of poison tipped the balance, but she had to use a lot of it which is a little annoying as she will now have to look for the necessary ingredients to make more. The two handed sword is a silver Elven claymore from the necropolis stash with a frost enchantment so it's not a game breaker. There are some weapons in the necropolis stash that are a touch overpowered despite their nasty parasitic attributes towards anyone wielding them and I've decided to be good and not use them. Eiolynn doesn't really need them anyway if I play her properly and keep in mind her strengths and weaknesses.

I once induced perpetual motion in Oblivion. Vilja and I were on a balcony in a tomb, in the room below us were two ancestral ghosts; I hit one with a command spell so he attacked the other. It was like watching a mirror fight. They would cast the same spells on each other three or four times, then they would heal themselves and return to the attacks. I let the game run and diverted my attention to the TV; forty-five minutes later those two were still at it.

It's best to simply avoid this thing... It's about 25 meters long....near 80 feet. One bite is generally fatal.

All the bits move and such. Yup...those, too. Not as refined as in Skyrim...but not bad. That big girl body my wife gives Vilja bounces everywhere. Hypnotizing...

Eiolynn's stats. Note the deliberate nerfing of her intelligence, agility and to a lesser extent her speed. As she levels up I keep her intelligence and agility stats lagging well behind so she continues to operate in the game world as she should. I've started using the Character-Based Attack Speed mod www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/49255 and have found it to be very good as it really does pull Eiolynn's odd stat combinations together into something that's quite believable and realistic. As an example even though her archery skill might increase and she manages to be a passable archer, the time it takes her to nock an arrow and draw her bow remains quite slow. And even as a skilled swordswoman it's easy for an opponent to knock her back and make her stagger. But if she manages to strike her opponent it's pretty much all over. And with her nerfed intelligence her skill at magic is barely novice level, but the attack speed mod has no bearing on that. All this makes her a very interesting character to play. Not quite everyone's cup of tea, but I like it.

Interesting stats; with the exception of willpower the opposite of my usual characters (pure mage or marksman, or some combination of the two). From your description I gather she is dumb and clumsy? could lift a ton but couldn't spell it? I once tried a similar character - an Orc in Morrowind; all strength and stamina, one blow from his daedric warhammer could kill almost any opponent ...if he could hit it.

House rule on our Oblivion is a PC can exchange stat points two-to-one at the start. So losing 10 agility gets you 5 personality...etc. Personality is important with the mods we have...plus we use realistic hatred to lower the threshold at which an NPC gets violent towards the PC. www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/41250/?But I had to fiddle with certain iffy factions in our Universe so that chaos wouldn't break-out in cities...usually...mostly...well...you hope. The Lake Monster Moasaur comes from a Russian mod, apparently. If you're interested in the critter and know how to add them, I can wrap it up. I see you've met fejeena... I'm not sure if you're into adding LOTS more critters...but if you are, check out Betty's Animal Planet...anything by Little Baron...Fly's horror creatures (but they needed work stats-wise before they were added to my game)...etc. Keep in mind...adding multiple mods that alter the spawn leveled lists means the lowest mod in the load order trumps the ones above it...in plain English: you need to merge all the leveled lists in order to get ALL the critters. So, what I did is combined esps with the CS and re-did all the spawn lists...a nit picky job if there ever was one...at the same time I de-leveled all the lists...I find that annoying.
