Wotan, tack så mycket! I had no idea that there is such a detailed history behind this all. So there are different eras, I see. That explains everything. In this case it can't be according to the lore, that Vilja would appear in Skyrim in person. This means there has to be a far descendant of Vilja - a several times great granddaughter of her. Thanks again for the link. I had my two first CTDs - one for example because Esbern was stuck, running against a wall, and he didn't load into the next cell. And there are some weird things like the impression of getting weaker the more I level up and just as Amgepo said, perks that seem to be of no use. And there is definitely a quicksave-bug with lacking of animation or functions. Sometimes I wonder whether I am the only one, who is running around for several days with an arrow sticking in my nose or an ice-bolt or icicle piercing through my arm . The blessings of the shrines may reduce the pain but how am I supposed to drink with the arrow in my face Maybe my enemies are supposed to die laughing? ;D

Just created my first mod for skyrim ;D . Is a patch changing a game setting not letting weapons separate from a dying actor (visually they do), as when this happens the actor is deleted on respawning but weapons not, leading to game bloating. As I'm yet refusing to update form the 1.1 patch (I see no significant advantages and people are reporting horrible glitches yet), I had not yet a confirmation that it works with the last patch, but seeing the update logs, it shouldn't be any problem. I really want to release something creative instead of patches, but without the CK released yet it's not posible :-/.

As I'm yet refusing to update form the 1.1 patch (I see no significant advantages and people are reporting horrible glitches yet), I can totally understand this, from my experiences with other games. For example: the last patch for Bloodmoon (Morrowind) made me crash more often, so I reverted it. I also figured out that updating NWN2 was a bad thing.

Sad thing is that sometimes you need to update just to be able to use some tools or fixes, despite a previous version superior stability. I'll end up updating. The question is if I'll end up trading stability for functionality.

Ok I uninstalled the game from my PC. Finished the main quest and though I had a LOT of fun with the game, I do need to get back to RL. I guess Keldan will be having the rest of his adventure in Sovngard.

Gah, I hit the save game size issue, and my game is now unplayable. Hope they get that fixed soon, because I *heart* Skyrim!

Gah, I hit the save game size issue, and my game is now unplayable. Hope they get that fixed soon, because I *heart* Skyrim! Usually I would say that they would left that fix to the modding comunity, but this issue is hitting PS3 users even harder and they can't mod the game, so, I would say that this time Bethesda will be forced to spent more resources on this. On the other hand, this issue is there since Morrowind, growing bigger with each new game. About unofficial fixes, there are some ideas out there in beth forums. In the worse case, someone will come with a fix again.

The patch should have fixed the problem. At least that's the message I got when I read the patch notes. Seems that this is not true in all cases, then.

Anyway, I don't know what they fix, as PS3 users have a harder hit on performance and stability and the issue is not accasional at all.

Ok I like messing around in game. So the current goal of my thief character is to go round and strip every guard of their armour.. apart from boots. Fur UG boots are just sexy.. and smelly.
Also all Thalmor are to suffer this indignity as well. The peoples of Skyrim shall be liberated of their trousers. ;D
