Nice, very nice thanks Wotan. Video of the possible introductions was broken due to copyright. Did anyone see the content before it was taken down?
The minor DLC in between the expansions should appeal to the console gamers.

I saw the little video they made from the developer ideas.
Some major ideas were: Spears, dragon mounts, and mounted combat. But there's no telling if any of those things will make a dlc or not.

Cheers Wotan.
Is it me or are those not the or at least three of the biggest spam asks on the Beth site. Especially before the launch of Skyrim.
I'm not saying they've not done so, but the video may have been a mock up for a joke. That or a modder showing off what the devs failed but was possible.

During Todd Howard's keynote speech at the DICE 2012 summit, he revealed some of the content that the team developed for Game of the Year award winner The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
While he states that the content may or may not ever be released to the public, here is a list of content Bethesda worked on, that could possibly make it into Skyrim as downloadable content. (List via GameInformer)
Spears Seasonal Foliage Flow-based Water Shader Kill Cams for Magic and Ranged Combat Stealth enhancements such as water arose and Assassin's Vision Guards can re-light darkened areas Paralysis Runes Dungeon enhancements like hanging structures and moving platforms Water currents in dungeons Dark dungeons New follower commands for combat style, training, distance, equipment, etc. Set favorites for followers Adoption Build you own home…complete with skeleton butler! Spell combinations! Flame + Raise Zombie = Conjure Flame Atronach, Fear + Healing = Drain Health Goblins High Level Draugr Waygate fast-travel Epic new mounts Mounted combat Dragon Mounts Soulbug Familiar Kinect Shouts Screen Space Ambient Occlusion Enhanced Underwater Visuals Snow Footprints Verlet surfaces for non-rigid objects…like the Fat Giant Ice & Fire Arrows Werebear! Lycanthropy Perk Tree Vampire Feeding Become a flying Vampire Lord Vampire imp minions Mudcrab animation tweaks

Some of those, like the spears and companion tweaks, should be included in a patch and not a DLC that people have to pay for. But this is the day of get as much money from the consumer as possible. I like the fact that CDProjekt gave stuff away from free in two of their recent patches. I wish Bethesda would follow suit.

I'm sure most of you seen this already but I guess in the 1.5.26 patch some people found some strings in there with the prefix DLC01. Looks like some Falmer stuff (Snow Elves), new Vampire feeding animations, crossbows, and something with the prefix 'RF'.

Just guessing here, but I'd say RF_ is a facial animation used during dialogue. Thus RF = Reaction Face. I'm excited about the new spell combos and the spears. I always use a spear in Morrowind. And yay for werebear! It'll be just like playing in Solstheim again. And there I've gone and done it... I miss my Morrowind and mostly Lokken.

I thought I'd ask this here because it concerns the HD Texture Pack DLC. I'm hoping someone here might be able to point me in the right direction.
I hit download in Steam and then noticed that it's as big as a house. I stop the download because I can't afford that kind of bandwidth, and now I can't play Skyrim. I tried deleting the .esp files from the data folder. Nothing. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Nothing. Next I got crafty. I installed the Nexus Mod Manager and skse (muhahahaha) and tried to launch the game from skse but it said it couldn;t find tesv.exe (loader.exe?), either one. Anyway, the Tundrastalkers are missing me. ;(
If anyone can offer suggestions I'm more than eager to hear them. Thanks for reading.
Poor lonely Tundrastalkers....
