It's also why you should never take cover behind a vehicle. Sometimes in the heat of battle I forgot about that, especially early on, for instance when I got to the drive-in cinema north of the starting vault and encountered some mutants there. Ouch!

LOL!!!!! I remember that happening to you! I think even the wiki mentions the same thing about FO3, never take cover by a vehicle, the raiders are also ones to throw grenades at you and blow up the cars. Especailly around the drive in movies!
Jasmine gets a makeover due to a rendering bug with the 1.07 that I didn't know about until after I deleted the original version to try a new one. Anyway, my wife helped with this one so this is probably how she'll stay:
sunk into the ground like a Morrowind character Used to happen in my game, to NPCs in the Balmora Mages guild.
So, I decided to start a new character the other day. Freja had just about done everything: first character to play through all the expansions on Normal. Most of my previous characters did easy, and none of them finished all the expansions. Seemed to me it was time to start a new character.
Ah, but what look did I want? Freja's face was actually copied from this NPC, a cutie I ran into at Lucky's: Freja does not look much like her, probably because Freja is hispanic and the cutie is not.
So, I started a new character, Luna. I made her caucasion and used that same face ... but with blue hair. Like Freja, Luna does not resemble the original NPC she is copied from. oh. Got this spiffy jacket after helping Butch's mother. Score.
Once established in Megaton, she had a robot restyle her hair. I'd decided blue was not appealing on her, and so I changed her hairstyle to the same short black cut that Freja had: While she still does not look like the cutie at Lucky's, this is an improvement over her shaggy blue style.
