When you spend the night at a place and a bed is available will Vilja sleep in the bed? Does she have a sleep schedule?
Thank you,
Robin

Robin Yes, Vilja has a sleep schedule if she is told to relax and she is not following you. She can use beds which are not owned by someone and which the player can use as well. If there is no bed available, you can tell her to use her bedroll.

Wolf,
Thank you for the reply.
How go you get rid of an extra bedroll? I told Vilja to use her bedroll and then, silly me, told her the same thing again and I ended up with a bedroll that won't go away.

She should automatically pack her bedroll when you tell her "let's go". As long as she is wandering around, she won't remove it, only relocate it if you ask her to.

I still end up with an extra bed roll. I'll keep trying different things.
Thank you,
Robin

Now I encouraged her to relax in Whiterun and when I came back at night she was sleeping behind Bannered Mare in her armor Suite.
Player owns Breezehome, so why is she not going there or buy a bed at Bannered Mare from the Money she has got from Player?

From my experience, if you accidentally told Vilja to lay out 2 bedrolls, only the last one get removed from "Let's go!" command. To get rid of the extra bedroll, have her relax again, and follow you again. ...tedious, but i don't have to pay rent...

Vilja Dosent use any beds even we're married. She has only "you'll have to use bedroll" option?

Vilja Dosent use any beds even we're married. She has only "you'll have to use bedroll" option? Not quite sure what you mean. She doesn't have a specific sleep or sleep there command. She ordinarily will automatically do it if a bed is available in a non hostile location and she is in relax mode.

She does in fact have an option to assign a place for her to sleep. This is handy if the bed is in another cell in the home. She will automatically sleep in the closest un-assigned bed otherwise. If there are no un-assigned beds in the current cell where she is set to relax, she will just wander all night.

I realize this is about Skyrim (which I'll never get to play) but I have a couple of questions about Vilja sleeping in Oblivion.
I have Emma's Companion Inns mod but there are several inns not included, in many of these (and some other places) Vilja will place her bedroll when told to use it, then promptly complain there is nowhere for her to sleep; space can't be the issue, there's room for a half dozen bedrolls. So what is the problem.
Also I'm searching for a bedroll mod I like, but can I get Vilja to use her bedroll outdoors? If told to relax she will just meander around all night (frequently requiring me to search for her the next morning).
