I guess I'm fairly neutral about them as they've not given me any real problems, but now they are switched off in my game, I think I prefer it that way. ...And I agree with falion. How do I switch them off? This is what I used and was testing above: www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35362/?

I am always neutral about kill cams, except when the kill cam doesn't kill... =.=
This usually happens when I am standing on a ledge and sniping an enemy with greatest eagle eye precision and high archery damage, and even the game decides it was an headshot, until the physics department decided the arrow should hit the ledge 1 foot in front of me instead of the enemy...

I don´t like those kill cams, feels too much like celebrating a lethal hit. Spent some time in Northern Ireland 30 years back when the civil war was still quite heavy, so I got a strong dislike for violence ever since. Can´t say why I play Skyrim nevertheless...
Actually, I wanted to tell something else: When hiking with Vilja as partner in the vicinity of Windhelm, suddenly the old Bob Dylan song "Girl from North Country" sprang to my mind and would not go away again, because it just fits so incredibly well. It was a true "WHOW!" moment, albeit an indirect one. Search for it on youtube and tell me if you feel the same.

Sniffles, the mod, that Seyheb linked appears to work perfectly. I was hesitant to install to an existing game, but so far absolutely no issues, not one single kill cam death, no unexplained CTD's, no other weird behaviors or Skyrim sorcery exhibited. So if you want your kill cams stopped, just use what he linked up above, it works, plain and simple.

Thanks ever so much! I play an almost unarmored archer with no melee ability. I use Zephyr and all the archery speed perks I can get for if I don't drop my enemy in 5 seconds or so my char is usually killed. I count on getting off two sneak attacks and 8 to 10 arrows in that period of time and the kill cam almost always assures my char gets dead. Blame Krusty over on UESPwiki for getting me into using a bow in Oblivion. Once I got the hang of it I never picked up a melee weapon again.

I hear you Sniffles, why go board and sword, when you can rain death from unseen ( most of the time ). My current character I'm role playing as a fairly strict ranger, using only bows and short swords / daggers, so I can relate. He has NO magic abilities ( Cerwiden and potions for heals and buffs, Vilja for Melee ), except I may turn him into an arcane ranger / archer dude at higher levels. 2 enchantments on each of my bows, something like these: Soul Wail: Fire & Soul trap Artic Shiver: Frost and Fear, they'll be running away...slowly, allowing plenty of "pick off time". *Evil Grin* Mage's Bane: Shock / Magic damage Undead Reaper: Fire and Turn Undead, have them running away and burning. Black Heart: Frost and Absorb health, slowed and vampiric Malestrom: Fire and Frost, slowed and buring ( though they might cancel each other out..have to test this. Winter's Wrath: Frost and Lighting Daggers of Heart Strike: ( Absorb health and Soul Trap ). Just some things I'm rolling around.

Fire and frost doesnt cancel each other out. They take both damage types. I usualy call it Cold Fire.

Falion found the no kill-cam mod. I just tested it. I'm also committed to bow in this play-through. My character was supposed to be a sneaky mage, but I found myself pulling out my bow and once I got going with the combined archery and sneak bonuses, I was committed. However he does carry an epic glass sword and a shield, just in case, and he can hold his own in a melee fight but I do a lot of damage from concealment with my fire bow before even Vilja and friend(s) get involved. Sometimes they don't need to at all.

Thanks for the clarification Jet, this being my first play-through I wasn't sure about that and I haven't got enchantment to the necessary level yet. I'm getting close though, for trying my enchantment combos, as I'm currently at 96 percent Thanks for the recognition Seyheb, I appreciate it sir Cool name Jet...Cold fire...makes sense!

Not "WOW", but a bit awkward and rather funny: Coming back from rescuing Vilja out of the wrecked ship on the coast, my hero went to relax in the hot tub outside of the Riverside Shack (great house mod!) when Vilja approached him to ask about the future of them both. As you undress when you sit down in the tub automatically, my hero had done so, Vilja too. Of course my hero agreed to continue traveling with her. Problem now: Since then, Vilja refused to wear any clothing or armour which made for some "interesting" situations and was anything but realistic. I had to go back to my last hard save and go thru it again, this time using a different location for that crucial conversation.

I had a pleasant one in Solstheim last night. I'd taken Vilja and her two friends to the Retching Netch inn (or whatever the name is) and she sang the Dragonborn song with Angelina. As soon as they had finished she then sang it again with Junie. They do sing quite a lot together but that is the first time Vilja has sung it with them in succession like that. She'd already sung it in the town with Angelina before we got to the inn.

Just had a pretty funny situation with Vilja: I replayed the situation mentioned above, but this time near the Brinehammer. Now Vilja asks my hero if they want to continue together and naturally he agrees with that, ending in the famous all too short embrace. My 2nd partner, the small, but powerful Breton mage Eurydice is standing fairly close and remarks dryly: "I can´t argue with that." LOL!!!

It must be the Solstheim mead, because they seem to be breaking into song even more than usual while we are there.

Went to Vilja's sercret lair trying to learn more about her wardrobe system. Of course I summoned Vilja there, and started playing with clothing items in her inventory. Of course she would chose to say the line about "of course we even loot the clothing off of dead bodies, but please wash them before you put it on" (don't remember the exact wording) in front of the many clothing containers.
