Vilja at Aleswell? Nice shots. I was beginning to think I had the only working copy of Oblivion. That's at the Red Rose Manor. Likewise. I'm wondering who is Bobbi and how do you do the mesh modification? That's an interesting looking location on the deck by the water. Red Rose I think was Emma's first house. Nice place like all her houses. Mesh modification is done with NifSkope...you can't build new meshes with it, but you can combine/delete/etc. Fairly easy to use next to Blender...I bow to those who can master Blender. Either way, I've been working my way through the popular female bodies and getting rid of the Barbie & Ken look that many have and making them anatomically correct...so to speak. Vilja we always make into a tall Speedbuster's Curvacous since she's obviously a bigger gal with some body issues...at least that's how it seems to my wife. One of the Lovers mods we use makes Vilja have some issues with with being overly bosomy and another deals with Vilja's trips "behind the bush". So like a real woman...you're always waiting for her to finish-up...whatever...lol. "Ready to go yet??? (tapping toe)" "Almost ready." "Ah, crap.......(sits back down)"
'Bobbi-Jo' is my wife's latest character...I just grab her for some screenshots and such. 'Emily' was her previous main character if you page back a bit. All locations lately are taken in my personally modified Shivering Isles. I build...she plays...it's a good system. The Shivering Isles...God Bless 'em...was done in such a hurry that beyond the roads, you can forget about detailed scenery. Plus there's often mistaken placement of rocks by some algorithm that they used to place them all...so many are showing their open sides or are upside down...etc. Trees...same deal...lots of floating trees. I've fixed that...added houses, villages, camps, etc, etc...plus a ton of NPCs with full AI. In the stock SI....EVERY NPC you meet had some quest or was part of some quest...now that's less apparent in our build. My wife always plays with Vilja alongside. The two usually 'adopt' some of Emma's kids (made from Emma's Children of Cyrodiil mod for this purpose) in order to build their Oblivion family. Not to mention, Vilja interacts with the kids so well...hmmmmm...wonder why...lol. Like you, the two end-up with quite the collection of critters. Cat...dog...pigs...cows...etc. They're like Elly-May Clampett squared. The wooden decks are Shivering Isles camp platforms since there's very little in the way of flat surfaces on the Isles. They hang-off mountains or are perched in the water. Very useful.

Okay, so you have a body replacer mod that you modify further with NifSkope. Right? I used to use Blender to modify and combine other people's work but like you say you would have to be some kind of genius to make something from scratch and be a full 3d modeling artist. My hat is off to those people as well. I never could figure out how to do the same thing with Nifscope. Do you think it would be possible to use Nifscope to modify Skyrim Vilja's face to look like Oblivion Vilja? It seems Blender and Skyrim is still a nightmare.
One of these days I'm planning on going through Shivering Isles again from scratch. Would your rebuild be good for that? You say "EVERY NPC you meet had some quest or was part of some quest...now that's less apparent." So how does that work? I guess Shivering Isles is partly added to Obliviion.esm and partly Shivering Isles.esp so I'm wondering how you do it.
That was a crack-up you remember Elly May Clampett. That really took me back.

I doubt Skyrim's Vilja can look exactly like the Oblivion Vilja as the skulls and faces are very different. Vilja in Skyrim is supposed to be Oblivion's Vilja's granddaughter...same name but different girl. But if you check the nice Skyrim shots posted here at Emma's site, Skyrim's Vilja has her own brand of cute. I'm also not sure the Shivering Isles will be available anytime soon. However, if you're into new areas, I did already release Black Marsh and Hammerfell. Both are wild rides. As for modding the Shivering Isles, you do it from the Oblivion master. It gets 'injected' into the main master on install. As for Elly May...always loved her critter fixation. Being kind to animals is an important aspect of making a girl/woman attractive to me...gotta love the critters. Big Vilja and tiny Emily from a while back. Vilja we always make over 6 foot tall. Vilja's favorite plaid PJs. When we first added those plaid PJs, Vilja grabbed them herself from one of the containers we added and put them in her own PJ bag along with a funny hair ribbon! My wife and I were rather astounded and treated Vilja with a certain amount of deserved reverence after that. We've been giving the plaid PJs to her ever since. At the moment I'm actually working on skin textures for my next release of my 'Natural Woman' repaint. These skin textures show various 'imperfections' that many bigger girls have...stretch marks and such. Sort of the opposite of those ivory skinned snooty Breton girls or those slender wood elves that Vilja complains about. It's supposed to look more or less normal on the smaller girls while showing 'imperfections' when stretched onto the Speedbuster Curvaceous or similar bodies. So far so good...but tricky work. Like painting an expanded balloon. For Caucasian females mainly as most die-hard Oblivion players use different skins for Redguards & Dunmer these days.

By adding more NPCs. Lore friendly mainly...but some obviously not. NPCs are a good place to start modding. Build an NPC that has a complex weekly routine for example. Several added Speedbuster Curvy cuties around Anvil. They do their own things and have no connection to any particular quest...although their factions do allow them to pass on various faction quests.

That is surprising she pulled PJ's from a chest and put them into her PJ bag. How did she know they were PJ's? Is there a PJ flag or something? I've seen a few things that I've wondered if that was actually scripted to happen or was it just a one time glitch that happened.

Probably just a glitch....but crazy things happen in heavily modded games. Vilja does have the ability to just grab things, though. Either way, it was on-point enough for my wife to think Vilja picked it herself. Good enough for me.

Down to their last few gold...the girl's start work for a local noble...it's at least better than scrubbing castle floors. Plenty of time to goof-off on the job.

Oh my. Did Emma record that line of dialog?

Oh my. Did Emma record that line of dialog? My wife wrote it, actually. She's to blame. Part of a mod called Lovers Joburg which partly has companions making 'naughty' comments when...errr...excitable...which were initially, frankly, ridiculous. We can't imagine Vilja actually swearing outside the occasional heart-felt 'Keep away from her, you bastard!' in battle...and Joburg had her swearing like a lechy old man, at first. So my wife 'Vilja-ed' them up for a girl-girl relationship keeping in mind previous actual Vilja dialogue...and Vilja's cute tendency to pluralize some words twice...one woman, two womens...clotheses...etc. "Imperial" being her second or third language. Just flirty stuff. Nothing too crude. You can turn them off when around other companions/NPCs. Under another Lovers mod, Aphrodesia...both the PC's and Vilja's luck and intelligence get slowly drained if they don't pay attention to each other's...you know... excitable-ness. These comments let you know...you know... nudge nudge....say no more.In our game... Vilja is shy and would never dream of sex with anyone but the PC willingly (maybe that Azzan at the Fighters' Guild). She needs to be in love (Vilja's Romance Option) with the PC to have sex as well as preferably 100 disposition. Nor will she have ANY sex in front of anybody else...she'll demand you find a private spot, first. Not preparing or having poor sex...only YOU have fun...can make Vilja's disposition towards the PC drop enough to be trouble. Nobody wants a grouchy Vilja. Vilgasms, my wife calls them...preferably many. You go up in levels, etc...quite the game. But...it IS part of the bigger game. Often more-so than the Skyrim Lovers crowd who seem to convert their Skyrim installs into virtual holodecks that would make Quark blush. Vilja also has other 'girl issues' that my wife finds makes her more realistic thanks to various mods...those big bosoms can hurt today, slowing her down, etc. Vilja also has to 'go behind a bush' at times...or a lot of times at times...or insisting that you BOTH go behind a bush for something besides a pee break. Plus numerous others...Vilja actually suffers if she doesn't get her sleep...or food...or drink. No adventuring all day and night for ol' Vil. She needs her beauty sleep! And a good meal. As does the PC. Even certain critters in our game get hungry. There's a friendly ogre that'll eat you out of house and home*. Cats...horses...pigs...monkeys...dogs...sheep...goblins....many others. Some don't...undead etc. *Vilja wonders about ogres wearing trousers?? Not with this guy!
Thanks to a mod called Lover's Power...sex gives Vilja & the PC some perks ranging from small to substantial that last a really long time. Subsequently, there's a mod working called Lovers Penalty (Companion version...one I made) that can "beat-up" the PC a bit as Vilja can sometimes get a little rough...big girl. And that's just a few Vilja extras at play...Lovers is highly customizable (sic?). You only install what suits...and it has a considerable number of sub-mods. My wife prefers the previous base version of Lovers, that I think you can still get, which had/has more to offer female players. Plus...we've got Vilja a cat she just adores and will actually play with it a bit when the script gods align correctly with the looming moons. Vilja will for whatever crisscross reason chase the cat's ball which will make the cat chase it, etc. Some confusion as to who is the cat, me thinks! We've enjoyed Vilja's virtual company for years now. Life would be a bit lonelier without... Anyways, enough yammering. I'm getting sentimental.
