Chatting it up with Ulfric in his palace (Season Unending) while Sindra sang 'The Age of Aggression' song then sat on his throne. Bet you didn't see that one coming, Emma!

Well, I guess it must have been the Imperial version

The Stormcloak version is 'The Age of Oppression'. I tried desperately to get a screenshot but Ulfrics dialogue got on top of hers and he got in the way of showing her sitting, then she stood up. Emma, where can I find the dialogue of Vilja's ad libs of the Dragonborn Song? On a technical note, if one goes by the words of the Dragonborn Song, the Dragonborn would automatically align with Ulfric, though conceivably usurp him at a later time. Another question. The Song Ragnar the Red reminds me of an ancient Nordic song I can't remember. Could you refresh my memory? It was definitely about a boastful braggart running afoul of a shieldmaiden who served a Jarl whos forebearer was the one who actually did the deeds

Sniffles, Not being pedantic but you made me smile this morning. Please read that excerpt again to me
'The Song Ragnar the Red reminds me of an ancient Nordic song I can't remember'. Not like you at all, I mentioned it because of the smile it brought to my face. I know you were thinking ...whose words I can't remember.
Have a nice weekend rhyls

Sniffles, Not being pedantic but you made me smile this morning. Please read that excerpt again to me 'The Song Ragnar the Red reminds me of an ancient Nordic song I can't remember'. Not like you at all, I mentioned it because of the smile it brought to my face. I know you were thinking ...whose words I can't remember. Have a nice weekend rhyls Well, errm... My mother was a translator of Nordic songs, lays and tales. I was raised listening to her degarble some of these and they would get told to me. As that Ragnar thing I'd remember the jist of what the story was about but instantly get lost as mum translated/interpreted, the verses various different ways. What she never bothered to translate, or did but I usually didn't remember, was the actual name of the story. And then, most of the story's had several names, some of which were given me in English, some Danish, some Norwegian, some Swedish, some Icelandic, if there was a unique aspect to a given tales location origin. or other. For example, discounting Poul Andersens FOOKING MESS translation, take the Saga of Hrolf Kraki. Just the title gets 5 different versions depending on who/how his name came across: Hrólfr Kraki, Hroðulf, Rolfo, Roluo, Rolf Krage Anyway, the tale I remember was the youngest sibling of a family, a weak girl fit for no more than scullery duties. The father in turn was the youngest of several brothers of the house of a noteworthy Jarl. In some misadventures the house was all but destroyed and the survivors scattered. The deeds of reknown done by the fore-bearers of this house were claimed by a rival house which contended for the position of Jarl. The young girl contested the claim and challenged the champion of the house. Her challenge was not taken seriously. There were several different versions of the story. By stealth she poisoned every member of the house, she put an arrow in the eye of the house head, she connived the neighboring jarls to slaughter them and so on. Of course it is all metaphor about the last and least may challenge and overcome the mightiest with enough determination and foresight.

Sniffles the easiest way to see them is to open Vilja with the Creation Kit. There are also a couple versions. Here is a screen shot. However if you open her in the creation kit don't save by accident. You won't be happy.

If you do the Vilja questline you'll meet Sindra eventually - you meet her when Wilbert sends you to get his old lute for Vilja. She's an optional companion as well, but so far I haven't figured out when and how she may become a follower.

Wotan, In order to make Sindra a follower, you have to do the Vilja performances quest, which you will only get once you have done the questline to make Vilja a "real bard". And the donkeytail quest is a prerequisit for making her a "real bard".
Collin one of the lines there is actually not in use. I decided it was too rude and that players might feel offended by it. I still left the entry in the shared topic, but it's never in use.
Sniffles, yes, steel bras may be good for fighting. Sounds like Sindra has a skimpy outfit on.
I don't think I have heard the story you mention about, but it sounds like an icelandic saga, they can be rather cruel.

So she can be brought from there? All this time and I didn't know that. See what being married does to one. Too many 'early nights' on the brain, not helped by Viljas's "Oh , I've got a bit of a headache" to quote her. Well anyway, that's my excuse. And thanks for the message. I have enough problems with this lute growing on my back. rhyls

Ah, I still haven't gotten the fourth book yet - I think it was spawned in Glenmoril and I don't want to go there before the Companions questline sends me there.

Sindra has a skimpy outfit on... That's one hell of a bra to get noticed under full Wolfcry armor regalia.
