Wotan was partially correct. He identified the distant view, but not the actual place where Vilja was, which is the altar table on the south side of Lake Ilinata and west of the Guardian Stones, the hint being that one of the stone pillars surrounding it is shown in the picture. Your maps do locate both 2 and 4 correctly. However, it doesn't matter to me who goes next, but 1 and 3 still remain to be identified and they are both specific features and both are named on the map. P.S Hints: [edit -the order corrected] 1. Shows only one of the pillars that stand outside a small structure. It looks out over a narrow river valley. You can walk straight in and shelter but there's no welcome there. 3. It overlooks a main road and there appears to be something broken there. The locals are trying to reclaim what they consider to be rightfully theirs.

Going to make a guess on #1 Four Skull Lookout, which is where you go for the Destruction ritual spell

Going to make a guess on #1 Four Skull Lookout, which is where you go for the Destruction ritual spell Correct, despite the fact I numbered the hints in the wrong order! (now corrected)

I have a few really old shots. This was taken before I had the pleasure to play with Vilja. Everyone should know this location very well. Should be easy to tell where my old char is No mistaking where this old shot was taken My last one. Had to show this as I think its funny. Actually had Vilja along when this was taken, but she's not in the shot. I'll need to go sightseeing with Vilja for more entries, but these old ones of mine will have to do for now. You skilled people should have no problems at all identifying the locations.

I think I can answer the first and last ones straight away. I'll have to think about the others.
First screenshot - the final room in Bleak Falls Barrow.
Last screenshot - the wooden bridge over the road at Robbers' Gorge
P.S. I'm sure I know the third one too, but the name just won't come to me at the moment!

First and third screenshot locations have been correctly identified The no2 isn't marked on the map. It's on a route well traveled. Location 4 is an official secondary map location. The amount of pine trees should be evidence enough that it isn't Robber's Gorge.

DUMP! I'm sorry. I just got tired of those dark dreary pictures. And you people needs some serious challenges. A road less traveled. Obvious Everybody has seen this at least once This one is sooooooooo easy. Maybe. And of course we all know the land of the levitating bear. PS the bear was a stroke of good luck. It was in the middle air between PC and that distant rock platform. Moving to get it to actually appear to stand on the platform made it hard to see. So you get this. Hint. It is near a major landmark that featured prominently in Arena.

You were very close. It's not Darkwater but the bridge just south of Fort Amol. I was headed for Ivarstead and High Hrothgar at the time The foliage mod you use makes it harder to tell locations. I would say the first shot is taken from the watch post in a village or town. But which one -Riverwood or Falkreath or somewhere else even?
A prominent location that featured in Arena? I would say Labyrinthian - it's the only one featured in Skyrim.

There are 5 prominent map features closer than Babblerynth. Sorry old bean but a little triangulation is in order. The foliage mod doesn't change the first one much at all. And you are slightly right. It's in southern Skyrim. Well, almost. Definitely Tamriel.

Here's the pic at 1920X1080 taken from the original BMP. It's a high res JPEG but not at maximum resolution, but I could soon copy from the original BMP at maximum if required. Got pic. Thank you.
