Just to also catch up with some more of my general reporting about the kids:
Waterfront District:
I saw Adanrel (adult) leave the Methredhel house in the late afternoon, but before the time kids normally head for home. At around 6.30pm Yrvan arrived outside the house but couldn’t enter. He was still standing there at 9.10pm when Adanrel returned. Yrvan wasn't able to enter until 9.25pm. Next day Yrvan did not leave the house until Ehlen Norvalo from the Temple District arrived at the door, then Yrvan came out of the house. They then went to the Market District to play. They travelled as far as the tunnel from the Waterfront together, then separated.
Market District:
This was a second visit in view of the last one being interrupted by the big fight that broke out.
Several children were playing in the central areas or wandering around the lanes behind the buildings. There was just one case of clipping into the scenery. Cyrila Sintav was playing hopscotch at the foot of the short flight of steps in the main road near Divine Elegance. She was at the lower level and was clipping into the steps as she went forward and then back again. I didn’t get a screenshot as just as I saw this happening it was the time the kids head for home.
Imperial Palace District:
Some children were seen crossing this area to other districts but none stopped to play.
Wawnet Inn:
Nerussi and Nerilla were sitting inside the inn in the morning. Later in the day they both came outside and separately wandered around the locality but did little actual playing. They then went back inside at the end of the afternoon.
General:
In all these cases, the children greeted normally and those who were spoken to responded normally.

OK Seyheb ... looks like I'm going to need a boost up with the Photobucket option. Tried the Add Image on the toolbar but that's no go. Turned on the BBCode display and fiddled with some stuff there (I have some basics on BBCode like spoiler tags but I'm clueless on this image stuff). I have all the photos uploaded to my new Photobucket account and figured out how to get the URL to each (I think ... what I have will display the image when I paste it into a blank browser tab anyway). I think I'm just missing the BBCode-foo .
- Edit - Got it figured out ... sort of anyway.
- Edit 2 - Think I've got it now Dova ... do they display right for you?

Striker879, in your post, you just need to add the image tag around the url like this: [img]direct url to image[/img] EDIT: Perfect, Striker.

I went back to the Market District to try to get a screenshot of Cyrila Sintav clipping into the steps. She was there, but this time she was playing hopscotch across the width of the road instead of along it, and was clear of the steps. P.S. Glad you got the screenshot posting figured out, Stryker. [Edit] P.S. Here's a picture of Nerilla in the Wawnet Inn (with Vilja - this wasn't posed, Vilja just happened to go and stand next to Nerilla). I've removed some of the darkness of the inn interior from the picture to make it clearer. As you can see, in my game I'm not experiencing the texture problem with Nerilla. Also it shows that Nerilla is blonde.

Hi, Striker! It's so great to see you here. If you see kids clipping into the ground or other objects or even moving through each other in a ghostly way, this is inevitable. It's not completely controllable at which spot or in what direction the kids will start with their animations so it's very likely they will collide with something and the animation will be aborted. And the animations had to be set up based on a horizontal level and are entirely predifined. There is no physics involved. We must simply live with a certain clipping. I don't know whether it's possible to sort out the unfortunate sitting behavior with the summerdress. I can try to change the weight painting of the dress (the amount how much a skeleton bone will affect the movement of the dress mesh) but it's likely this will cause issues with other animations.

Striker, in regards to the miscoloring of the skin for those using OCO2 (or maybe it is Blockhead - Blockhead screws up Vlja's bikini textures. No, not YOU, Blockhead, the utility of course ). Could you head over to Cheydinhal and take a look at the bosmer girl who is wearing the same dress as Loviesa? Is also her hair and skin miscolored in your game? The thing is that this seems to be a problem that both affect the hair and the skin, and I wonder if it is related to which *hair* the kids are using if the problem will appear or not. The Wavnet girl and the girl in Anvil uses hairs from the same hairpack, and as plenty of kids are using the same outfit as the girl in Wavnet, there should else be plenty of miscoloring. Please report the name and location of each child you find that you suspect is suffering from this problem! I don't think it is about the clothes, at least not only, and therefore it is important to look for patterns. As OCO2 seems to be very popular, and as there are several mods requiring Blockhead, i think we must look for ways to overcome what these mods/utilities do to other mods.

Striker, special mission for you or for anyone else who is using OCO2.
Can you take a look at the following kids and see if they are affected by the hair-and-skin-disease?
Cheydinhal: Imredhel - bosmer girl, same dress as Loviesa. Blond. Please check her!!
Skingrad: Yannia, bosmer girl, redhead, common outfit Yann, bosmer boy (brother to Yannia), redhead Salina, altmer girl, blond
Imperial City: Paloma, Market district, altmer girl, blond
Bravil: Ulrika Loche, imperial small girl, medium blond
Bruma: Isthern Brlus, imperial boy, blond
My suspiscion is that Imredhel may look OK and that the others could have wrong hair color and maybe wrong skin color, too. Let's see what happens. Of course, also report other kids that you can see are affected.

Thank you so much for the feedback. So, we have a situation where a popular and much used overhaul has really ruins other mods. That's great, isn't it I guess I could try and move hairs to another folder and see if this might help. Your picture of Imredhel shows that my assumption was wrong - that it's only the corean hairs that are affected. Imredhel has a Ren hair. These girls are not supposed to look that way. Their hair is ruined. Oddly you don't seem to have the same greyskin problems with these girls as Striker has. thank you for showing me this, and please make new screenies if you find more oddities. I guess I should try and make a list of which hair colors the children should have.

There is defenitely something wrong with the shaders of some hairs also without any other mod installed. It's the same in my game. I first thought it had to be like this, that some kids look a bit punky and some even skunk-like.
I'll have a look...

I have a theory that the OCO v2 problem is in part due to the bashed patch, but that will take some more investigation, and I'm far and away fairly new to all things bashed. I'll make my skin problem report before starting research on my theory so that if you hear a loud rumble from the west (for all you European types) followed by some other sounds it will just be my computer blowing up and me saying ... ummm, "some words". Cheydinhal: Imredhel - bosmer girl, same dress as Loviesa. Blond. Please check her!! - Same as Loviesa (dark hair with skin problem) Skingrad: Yannia, bosmer girl, redhead, common outfit - dark hair no skin problem Yann, bosmer boy (brother to Yannia), redhead - dark hair no skin problem Salina, altmer girl, blond - dark hair no skin problem Imperial City: Paloma, Market district, altmer girl, blond - dark hair no skin problem Did find some IC kids with problems though: Cyrilia Sintav Elven Gardens - skin problem on lower legs Grisha gra-Marad - skin problem on arms Un-IDed Talos Plaza kids - skin problems on hands Dark haired girl at back ... looks like she's wearing gloves Bravil: Ulrika Loche, imperial small girl, medium blond - dark hair no skin problem Did find these Bravil kids with problems though: Genini - skin problem on hands Niwalyn - skin problem on lower legs Bruma: Isthern Brlus, imperial boy, blond - dark hair no skin problem Did find skin problem on one child though: Eida Rosentia - skin problem on hands Just so you know it wasn't entirely work with no fun here's a little story. So all the other times I've had to pull a B&E to get into a house I've done so unobserved. When encountering any children who weren't sleeping I was mostly just ignored, like I was supposed to be there, whether past their bedtime or before. So little Ulrike was as quick as a bunny and made it to her house before I could find her. Went to pick the lock but Ungolim was doing his stand with a torch thing at the Lucky Lady statue so I couldn't pick the lock unobserved. I said "Oh well" and picked it anyway. I go in and cute little Ulrike was sitting reading her book. As soon as I approached she stood up (usually the kids just continue whatever they were doing). I got a screenshot ... she was cooperative just standing there, saying nothing. Next thing she pulls a dagger and starts wailing on me and every few seconds giving me the toasty treatment with a fireball. I couldn't fight back I was laughing so hard. I went to go out the door to see if she'd give chase when the predictable guard arrives ... Here's a shot of the sweet little girl who wanted to whoop me but good: Naturally had she actually killed me I'd be keeping this little story to myself ... how embarrassing. I think when I was witnessed she used a homeowner type package when she spotted me, but didn't give me any of the usual home owner warning dialogue. Gave me a moment to consider my predicament, then went postal. I'm still chuckling about it every time I picture it.

Thank you all so much for the feedback. I think we need to compare mods lists, because we have this problems:
Striker: miscolored skin miscolored hair
Using OCO
Firespark: miscolored hair, skin OK
Using OCO
Wolf: Miscolored hair, skin OK
NOT using OCO
Seyheb, Emma: Skin OK, Hair OK
NOT using OCO
Firespark and Striker, are you using the same versions of OCO?
Seyheb, have you seen any other oddity than that in your game Joline has a too bright skin (which she hasn't in my game)?
Can someone else report about their findings, too? (Marek is on holidays, how about the rest?)
An additional question:
Have you got the original Rens Hairpack installed? Have you got the original Corean hair installed?
I have them installed, and in my game the hairs look OK. Wolf says he hasn't got them installed, and in his game the hair is weird. So, if also Seyheb has the original hair packs, but not Striker and Firespark, then maybe... Let's hope we find out what this is about.
