There are several ways of dealing with dead, broken, or quests you want ignore (Really, you want me to steal a gold statue fro the temple?) . Solutions appear to mainly to be advancing them, resolving them as done, or deleting them. None of these solutions felt right to me. I might want to go back to one, I might not understand all the conditions to do them or getting rid of them could break things (Like character marker quests). "Hide those Futile Quests" answers this for me, they are still technically in my journal and I can revive them any time I want, but I they are hidden till I want to see them. www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68323/?

I have been using The Choice is Yours mod for a long time which prevents many quests you do not want from showing up in your quest log just because you ask some innkeeper about a rumor. This looks like it would be compatible with that and perhaps even a replacement for that mod.

They compliment each other. With one you can avoid some quests and the other hide the other stuff.
