What are the hours of your room rental in an inn? I ask because there seems no penalty if I do not leave the next morning ... BUT ...rent a room at 10PM, leave the building for just a few minutes and return to find the door to my room is locked and I must pay again (these innkeepers have a great racket going on here).
In larger inns (such as the King & Queen in Imperial City, Jerall View, or the inn in Anvil), if Vilja awakens before I do she will go to another room and the door locks behind her. I must now risk getting caught picking the lock to get her out, or leave the building and summon her (or get up an hour before she does in order to intercept her). Is there a more elegant solution to this? (I'm sure this must be related to that comic scene of guild hall members playing musical beds all night.) It's odd that she doesn't do this in smaller inns, where she just wanders the hallway.
In smaller inns out in "the sticks", where the beds are in the attic, there is usually one bed near the stairs and three or four clustered near the far end of the room. It seems the farthest bed (behind the chimney) is the only one Vilja, and the NPCs, want; if Vilja doesn't get it, she complains, I tell her to use her bedroll, she puts it down, and still complains (there's enough room I can walk around her bedroll).
In a dungeon with only one bedroll either I use it and leave Vilja standing there waiting or tell her to relax and she grabs the bedroll, leaving me standing there. Is there some way for me to use that bedroll and Vilja use hers?
