Stuck on second step of Vilja romance (visiting an inn)

I am in my latest playthrough of Skrim and my third with this wonderful mod. This is the first I have attempted the romance aspect. I answered her question in regard to her accent well enough but seem to have 'broken' the quest on the second step. I was in Solitude and she asked me to spend the evening in an inn. I agreed but instead of going to the Winking Skeever she left Solitude. I followed her a while but as I was pressed for time I overrode her, saved the game and quit. Since then I have been unable to get that step to be fulfilled. Would it help if I took her to the inn she was aiming for? If not, can I input a quest stage in the console bypass?

Simply solved. Go to Whiterun at around 7-9 PM. Go beside the Inn and talk to her, you should have the additional dialogue about going to an inn.

She may in fact bring it up herself. If you wait outside for a few minutes.
