I can't figure out what the problem is. The script extender crashes before launching the game. Running the application there's just a brief moment the window opens and closes, then nothing more. I've looked all over trying to find some useful information. I've checked the firewall and antivirus to see if the application might've been blocked or quarantined but can't find anything. It's all very confusing.

Use YOUR shortcut...not theirs.

I downloaded and installed the 2.0.19 version from Silverorg. Tried to run the skse loader in the game folder but it crashes.

Did you look at the SKSE logs? Mine are located under Libraries\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE.

This seems to be the problem: "plugin D:\Program\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\SKSE\Plugins\\skee64.dll (00000001 skee 00000001) disabled, fatal error occurred while loading plugin (handle 2)" But how to solve it :-/

Yeah... Seems that after I got my internet back and had to install my antivirus anew a lot of files got blocked, I mean hundreds and hundreds of them, because they're considered to originate from a different computer. It's gonna take me ages to go through each and every file in all my games -- so far I've discovered this in both Skyrim versions. I reckon it's the same in all my games that run mods.
