I have been thinking how is than anyone have not made a children companion? yeah i know there is "ebonheart orphange" but the children dont follow you good and dont teleport with you, i like the idea but is just dont well done, and i know theres "your morrowind family" but they are so many XD im kind of a loner and id like a child that break my stone hearth, maybe an ashlander boy or girl (or both) whos family was murdered by some bandits he or she dosent need to figth just be there to make you company talk silly thing to you
I think this is a kind of empty request sinze i dont think some many people keep playing Morrowind; I dont know why i always keep returning to play morrowind when i get bored of oblivion, fallout dragon age etc etc, i just love morrowind to much i guess
I will make the children myself but i have been two days trying with grumpy Companion Project v3.1 but im just too stupid =P is like reading in some alien lenguaje, bit belive my i will keep trying XD

Hi VenusM - I take it you are the same VenusM as I have been talking to in the Vilja-thread at Nexus, among other things regarding confidence and responsibility in a certain other male companion.
There are a few child companions around. Morrowind family indeed includes four children, but as there is also a Nanny, you can simply leave her and three kids at one place and travel with the remain child. I added the Nanny so that people shouldn't feel bad at leaving children alone at home, and the number of kids came out of the requests I got at that time.
There is also a children-add-on for White Wolf of Lokken, and these children haven the best following-behaviour of the companionable children I know of. You do have to play through the Lokken Main quest, then there will be a good reason why you are taking over responsibility for these two girls - a small girl and a teenager girl. If you don't want to bring them with you, you can leave one or both in the castle. If you head over to the Creative Corner, Eirik's tales from Lokken will involve these children so you can learn more about them there.
Note that for small children there is a little problem - they are so small that they might walk through statics, which makes them less good as companions. Nothing I can do about it, really, it is how Morrowind works.
Oh, and I agree with you - Morrowind is very special. I think I will continue to return to it also long after Skyrim has arrived.

You have to talk to the same child a number of times, so that you are not a stranger to it anymore. Then it will accept your gifts. Just like in real life, I guess.
I remember now that I actually set the condition that you had to be married in Lokken in order to take care of those children. Doh... Well, I still think that story-wise, that condition is very relevant. So, unless you want to marry, I guess the Morrowind family children are the best option I can offer for time being.
Oh wait!!! There is one other child, a teenager boy in Lokken that you can also have as your companion!! You have to play through the main storyline first, but you do not have to marry, definitely not. There will be a side-quest in the castle that you only can activate after the mainquest and probably also after giving Agnes her dog.
Out of curiosity, what kind of child companion were you looking for? A small child or an older one?

First i start to make a small kid, that was my desired that he was only for company not to figth, i guess like a pet (oh my god what a horrible think to say =P) but by your advice (you mention that they might walk through statics) im trying to make now a Orc teenager (he´s an orphan who wants to join the imperial legion and want little bit more figthing experiance) I actually want to make a little quest but is a little to complicated for me =P
Using the template of grumpy is easy i only get to change the dialogue a bit; and since is only for my personal use i use my imagination XD
