I have been playing and modding Oblivion and Morrowind for many years, and always enjoyed making screenshots ingame.
However, some weeks ago, I got a new computer with Windows 7. I installed my games in a Games folder, to prevent problem when modding. Now I am unable to make screenshots ingame.
I HAVE changed the bAllowScreenshots setting to 1 in the ini-file in MyGames Oblivion, so that is not the problem. I have *not* changed the setting in the Oblivion_default.ini in the Oblivion folder, but this I assume should not be changed.
Am I missing something? Is it related to how my game is installed? I never had a problem with this before and I simply don't understand what I might be doing wrong.

Probably a Windows 7 problem - Microsoft attempted to improve the security, but the improvements are more of a nuisance than a benefit, so many users turn them off. See for example cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/How_To_Create_Screenshots_Using_Oblivion (bottom of the page), which suggests either installing outside the "Program Files" directory or turning off UAC whilst taking screenshots. Also it could apparently be an anti-aliasing video card problem - try turning off anti-aliasing (same web page, a bit higher). Loriel EDIT - I see you have found the solution already before I finished typing it

I had the same problem, some years ago, in XP. I had been running fine but then I decided to turn anti-aliasing on. As already noted: not a windows 7 problem this time, but an Oblivion-is-stupid problem.
