So, what modding projects for Skyrim might you have up your sleeve? Myself, well, I believe the rumour has already been spread that I'm tinkering on something like this. I've been reluctant to mention it, as there are so many difficulties to overcome in order to make something that isn't just another follower, but now I think it is fair to say that she will eventually be a "real" companion. However, it won't happen that fast, so don't expect anything for several months yet.

I am trying to mod the Opening Tutorial to remove the player from getting their head on the chopping block by moving Alduin's Appearance to just after the first execution.
Not as easy as in Oblivion or Morrowind.

No, that sounds to be really tricky, working with the scenes isn't that intuitive.

I've been thinking of a certain suggestion for a companion in Skyrim but I don't plan to mod for the game (my computer even doesn't bear it!). Do you mind if I write it?

Of course you are welcome to! I must admit I was hoping you would make a Fergus for Skyrim; he is by far my favorite male Oblivion companion, and I wouldnt' go anywhere without him.

Thanks, Emma! Well, I'm not sure what the future holds, maybe I'll be able to update my computer and finally have my adventures in Skyrim. I've been studying Blender, so, maybe, in the future, I might be working with 3D models too. I'm modelling a restaurant and soon I'll show it to people here.
In any case, my idea for Skyrim would be a bard companion, specially a Dunmer. With the destruction of Morrowind, some Dunmers would be looking foward to maintain the Dunmer culture and traditions alive. So, the bard would be more of a storyteller, not a musician. The quests for the companion could be lore related stuff from Morrowind. This is just a concept. I didn't give more thought on it.

No doubt learning blender will give you a good point to start modding, as the scripting and the CS has changed a lot.
You may want to consider not making that dunmer a musician. NPCs in Skyrim can play the flute, the drums and the lute. Keep in mind that music is part of a culture, so a bard wanting to mantain a culture alive could also play music.

huahuahua indeed, besides bards doesn't need to be musicians. Actually, if I create a bard, he would be "a bard that doesn't know how to sing but he likes to sing". It would be funny but annoying.

Your concept sounds like great fun, I hope you will be doing it And new good models are of course also always welcome.

In the worst scenario, I could end up with this idea for Oblivion. However, I want to make another companion for Oblivion. Simple as Neeshka, but with unique voices.

I hit a bad stumbling block as I can't figure out modding the quests. I DID find the quest stages, tho...
