Okay, I sometimes can't understand Vilja. I miss about half of what she says.
Isn't there a way to turn on subtitles in Skyrim? I can't find my stupid manual. I've been enjoying the character anyway, especially her leading me from one end of the continent to the other when I asked her to lead ;D
I did the quests up through the place where you use Nettlebane and will have to set her to the 2nd least talking option because she's still blabbing every 43 seconds. Fun girl. Thanks for the immense work that must have went into this.

Under "settings" you will find "Display". In the display-section, scroll down a bit and you will be able to enable the subtitles. Hope this helps!

Yep, I love all the pertinent comments. When we're facing bandits, she's aware that they're bandits and not undead. I just don't want to miss what she's saying because of dialect. My guess is that as I get more used to her way of speaking it will be easier to understand. One other minor thing is that I run much faster than she does. I'm guessing this is because I'm a high elf male and therefore much taller. I sometimes outrun the conversations she has with Lydia, but I hear them laughing and it makes me self conscious
