Hi I have never used a forum before so I hope I use this correctly, if I fail to observe any rules or protocols do let me know. I joined because I have a problem with Vilja in Skyrim she used to work fine but now she won't follow me and constantly returns to the Bannered Mare, if I go in there and ask her to follow she agrees but once we are out of the door she goes back in. She is willing to take the lead and go somewhere with me following but if i wander off for long enough or ask her to wait or ask her to let me take the lead she always agrees but then starts walking in the direction of the Bannered Mare from wherever she might be. Any ideas what the problem could be, are there any known conflicts with other mods or requirements for the load order of the mod, I have got the UFO mod and various other companions mods? I have enjoyed using the Vilja mod in Oblivion and Skyrim, it is a brilliant job she does seem pretty real but her current behaviour is getting a bit frustrating.

I'm not sure what causes this (probably an incompatibility with other mod), but other users fix it by asking her to lead you to an inn when you get her outside and once inside again, inviting her to mead.

Thanks for the help, that didn't work at the Bannered Mare as she went straight back in after we left, yet again, so I told her we needed to split up for a while and to wait for me at the Silver Blood Inn. I waited half a day or so before travelling there then bought her a mead and she followed me out and stayed following out in the world so it seems to be fixed, for now anyway. The problem started, by the way, when she randomly decided she was thirsty and went off to the Bannered Mare inviting me to join her, if I wished, but I didn't do that thinking she would just join me again as had happened before but when she did reappear she didn't follow. I will know what to do if it happens again, thanks.
