Hi, I've been using Vilja now for months without problem. I finished all of her quests and married her before Christmas. Over the last week I added a few older mods (not from the nexus - 'Sea of Ghosts' and 'Faction: Pit Fighter') and have over-written all of my saves. Unfortunately the Vilja I married started to bug out. Her clothes wouldn't change her inventory wont open (but her extra spaces would ?) and I couldn't give her a gift. I assume my save's scripts for her have been corrupted - I tried resetting and debugging her to no avail. So I've reinstalled her and restarted the mod (disable, open + save, then re-enable).
Since then I've got her the bottle back from the Nord and Bosmer and then gone to Beata. I've completed everything else with Beata without any problems but she will not start the Romance quest. I've tried with and without a band of matrimony. I've tried this solidly for nearly 2 hours without any success. She just keeps offering "No this is new to me". If anyone has any advice or insight on this I'd be much obliged.
Could it have anything to do with her disposition towards me (82%). Should I try marrying and then divorcing someone else? Could I have done something wrong with the sequence of options I chose from Beata before the romance ones?

Her disposition needs to be above 90. Buy her dinner and a few drinks.

No, I don't think this has anything to do with her disposition.
This is because the game variable (being in a faction) that indicates you are married doesn't get cleared when you uninstall Vilja. So when you reinstall Vilja again, she simply just think you are married to someone else, and Beata won't have the romance option available in this case.
You don't need to marry someone else, but using a divorce mod would be a good idea. See FAQ for suggested divorce mod.
As with your original problem with her inventory, if you are running into it again, feel free to ask. An reinstallation probably wasn't necessary, and it could be something else that the team needs to know about.
EDIT: Are those two mods the only mods you added and the problem arose after that?

EDIT: Are those two mods the only mods you added and the problem arose after that? That fixed it - thanks Dovahklon. The re-installation has ironed out a few kinks too - so it was probably all for the best. I left Vilja at home while I was doing a few "black ops" quests ( Faction: Pitfighter and other stuff she wouldn't approve of) I hadn't started the Sea of Ghosts quest but I did have it turned on since I last checked her gear. The only other mods I ran were Enhanced Mighty Dragons (which did bug out my game in general - slow activation of objects, slow menus, occasional stutter) and EWIs True Weaponry of Viscounts and Sirrahs, which caused weird aberrations (suddenly duplicating armors and suddenly swords appearing in my inventory). BUT I thought I had reverted to a clean file before these mods were active - it is possible I didn't and caused my problem because of one of these 2 mods. When she was bugged out I check Vilja's stats ("how are your skills progressing") and both her two handed and one hand skills were over 1,000. I used the "I think something is wrong" debug but her inventory and clothes (specifically armor) were still not working. By the way kudos on Beata - that function is amazing. I can only imagine how much time and effort went into creating an immersion friendly debug mode!
