Purple = skin textures missing. I posted a link to a set...but you should have default. Are other NPCs affected or just Vilja? My guess is the PC 'overhaul' mod you added...try the one I posted if you want good looking female PCs (doesn't affect NPCs)...easy breezy. Re: Boss and Loot: they can only sort what they know. Plus, they can sort incorrectly if unknown mods are in your mix. That's why it's better to do things yourself if you're the least bit experimental. The thing to remember is Oblivion loads from the top of the load order down...with lower mods trumping higher mods on the list. That means if two mods change the same thing, the lower one wins. The PC looks fine now. It's Vilja that's the problem. The blasted Mod organizer was activating the mods, but not activating them. I opened the launcher and ticked the boxes and things worked. Am downloading that entire mod you recommended. That is entirely for the PC though, right? Oblivion Character Overhaul fixes all vanilla NPC uglies. Faces and potato heads.

And a bit on bodies...
All of your PC/NPC meshes are in the meshes----> characters ----> _male folder. All your NPCs and your PC use the same meshes...there are upper and lower bodies...hands and feet (male and female). When you see a body you like, you can swap out the meshes into this folder (backing-up originals etc). Set Body adds a folder called 'Bombshell' which contains every mesh for all the different bodies. These can be swapped out, too, but the LoversLab gnomes built one with all the bodies in one...in theory they are all there.
The skeleton (not the undead monster) is in the same folder. The skeleton that comes w/ Oblivion is fine for most game-play, but if you want all that extra life-like movement and such, you'll want the newest recommended.

POLL! 1. On the bright side, it can't get much worse. 2. At least the game runs. 3. We can frighten Daedra! 4. I'll be over there, vomiting. That picture is possibly the most disturbing thing I've seen in any Bethesda game. Yikes!

I think Vilja's body is fine. She changes body when in swimming mode and that texture-mesh got trampled. But otherwise the game runs fine so far. I took Mystic Elf race then went foo foo on her with the in game character creator. I was going for the look of the savior of all Tamriel who spends most of her time mooching about the countryside defying death while doing a whole lot of nothing that makes much sense. So I opted for the demented sweetness-and-light watch-your-genitals darling ala Alice from American McGee's game with a dash of psycho tossed in look. How did I do? I think I might dial her down to AA cups to go with the borderline Anorexic build as a counterpoint to the buxom Vilja.
