To start off: I absolutely love this mod, Skyrim will never be the same without her But I encountered a slight problem, she keeps saying ''So many things to do ... so little time.'' It started just after I bought the engagement ring for her. I have to add that I skipped some of her quests, since I started a new playthrough with her from the start of the main questline of the base game. Because of the skipping the objective 'Find a bloodrelative to Heneri Hlaalu somewhere in Skyrim' is unchecked. I searched everywhere for an answer, but couldn't find any. I read in another thread though that a line like this might be an indication what the problem would be, so I'm hopeful!

How did you skip the quests? If you used the console ermmmmmmmmmmm you have a disaster. If so, it cannot be fixed. If you used Beata, I hand this over to those pros in the know.

I used Beata, I'm too afraid to use the console

Okay. I'm guessing here. The Heneri part cannot be skipped. It is an integral part of Vilja's plot development and a side quest, the Donkey Tail. Try going to Hllalu farm and speaking to Falanu then returning to Heneri at the Sanctuary. See if anything changes. I know from experience the Donkey Tail quest will/might/can arrest Vilja's main plot until completed and that requires Heneri getting fixed up. I got stuck with Vilja in a very tangled mess and it required Amgepo talking me through a labyrinth of things to get it untangled. By far the best and safest move us to just grit your teeth, load a saved game and take Vilja through the entire Bottle/Heneri/Rescue/Donkey Tail scenarios. The indicator that everything is working correctly is if you get Leifur and he works correctly. Right now I'm in the middle of that series of scenarios and have encountered the potential problems. Every time I entered Eldergleam and Windpeak Inn I made a special notated save. I'm metoculously completing all Heneri and side quests with more saves. The entire plan is getting a properly functioning Leifur so I know the Vilja quests have no hung up scripts. With 7 major mod followers besides Vilja, potential disaster looms at every script-incident that happens. If my game makes it through the family reunion at the Windpeak Inn with all followers present, I will be flat out amazed.

If that is the case, that would be throwing 50 hours of gameplay away. I completed the Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLC after I skipped the quest.
Wouldn't this problem happened earlier?

Oh crud and crap. I did the same, Dawnguard anyway. But I did the Donkey Tail. and full Vilja go through. That was when Amgepo had to bail me out. Try to do the Heneri quests. Only takes an hour or so. IT's extremely important you get Leifur. He shows you the quests are complete and there are no hung scripts.

I'll give it a try, I didn't start the Donkey Tail quest, but finished both the Flute and Bottle questlines

You get it when Vilja asks the PC to find Eldergleam. It is my guess Beata will fast forward certain quest stages by can't turn off quests in progress.

Well, I finished the Donkey Tail quest, but the problem isn't solved.
I have Leifur following me, but the first thing she said when she rejoined me was (after finishing the quest) 'So many things to do ... so little time.'

How long, playing hours, has she been saying this?
Have your used her reset spell and got into a friendly fight with her?
I don't like the Heneri script being hung up like that. We need someone like Amgepo to help out.

It happens for approximately 10 hours now, I sent her home :-)
I tried the reset spell, but didn't have a friendly fight. Edit: friendly fight didn't work

I just checked. I had the same exact problem. Leaving Markarth having bought her a ring I took note of it. In my case it was Donkeytail hung up. Saved games were corrupted too. Need Amgepo.

... Wouldn't this problem happened earlier? Oh no. The Elder Scrolls games are notorious for letting you do things which may break a quest you haven't even started yet, or prevent you from doing something weeks or months later (game time). Occasionally you may be able to progress by resetting something via the console, but even this is risky as it could cause more problems further down the line. Often your best solution is to load a much earlier save and retrace your steps, paying more attention; frequently it is seemingly insignificant things which cause the problem - going somewhere before you should, or talking to one NPC before another (save often, particularly before doing something you're not certain about). Another thing to try is the old "72 hour" solution. Leave Vilja in wander mode somewhere and go do things on your own for at least 72 hours (game time) then return and continue with her.

Agree completely jgf. FNV has -quest broken- checks and announcements but they were ignored/deleted in later games.
Could even try the 30 day reset. Combine with a serious saved game cleaning.

I should have noticed this earlier... If Vilja keeps repeating things, something is missing... Only Emma knows the entire list, Strawberries for example means that Her main ESP got removed, or damaged. If I were you, I would completely remove her, then manually replace the files. She is stuck and just can't find the next line.. The 3 day rule is good as well. That parses whatever is running. It could also be that in running Beata you skipped a step, some things must be done twice. Unlikely but possible. Removing and replacing the files between saves shouldn't cause any problems by the way. Everything she is doing is baked into your save. Hence why she will keep running even if files are missing... Just not well.
