I really like her voice. And she is the most upbeat of any follower. Always amiable if treated right, a little off the wall, and very easy going. She has Vilja beat when it comes to being chill and not henpecking or complaining. It's always a surprise when she gets an attitude in a fight. That sudden change of personality where you go WHOA. Look out, bad guys. You got the kitten pissed off!

I used the new voice, a bit softer and smoother. Less urgent.

Voting is heavy this month with it being a real horse race between Convenient Horses and M'rissi. Hopefully it will not turn into a cat fight like the voting on the classic Skyrim was. There hasn't been this kind of voting turn out since the Vilja vs. SEPTIM match.

I'm still a haven't voted yet. Still a bit cranky over the "sorry I wasted your time, you failed six hours ago and didn't even know it, haha, start over" thing.

I'm still a haven't voted yet. Still a bit cranky over the "sorry I wasted your time, you failed six hours ago and didn't even know it, haha, start over" thing. Establish, if you can, the criteria for a vote. If an exacting one hasn't been defined you need to make your own. I rate a mod my own way using my own scale. A 50-50 or whatever break over point. Sincere deliberate effort I weigh very highly. Creativity, inspiration and get in there. Then mod execution. Half arsed scripting or streamlined and perfected. Quality, and attention to details? Misspellings and sloppy workmanship? I add it all up while giving thought to the author and not wishing to hurt the persons feelings. (I never troll. Trolling=I'm an asshole and like to hurt people's feelings.) So take M'rissi. Yes, there is a major flaw that can leave you hanging. This really should be corrected. I offset that with the obvious. Someone poured their heart and soul into that mod. There is a labor of love present and the sparks from that part of a persons being always deserve respect.

That what I am weighing. I have become attached to the little Minx, there are few bugs that need work ie Sabre cat fight, she loses her clothes once and awhile (her spell ring is gone and I have no clue, she just became naked and her inventory was blank except for kinship amulet. But very good work over all. That's why I haven't voted, always wait for a calm clear opinion.

But very good work over all. That's why I haven't voted, always wait for a calm clear opinion. IMHO. M'rissi has a personality beyond spiffy dialogue. That is rare. She goes above and beyond following her personal quest line, also rare. She becomes a valued valuable member of the community when with other followers, via the PC. That's special. She has enough dialogue that she makes some off the wall comments at the most appropriate moments. She purrs. She's sweet, insecure, and inoffensive. She is the only follower that takes it one day at a time and doesn't pressure the PC. She is content to stay put somewhere without any gripes or snide comments. That's a serious bonus. Those merits alone are enough for me to entirely overlook some scripting and quest goofs. As for losing out on her quest. We learned our lesson quite some time ago with Vilja when our saved games became horribly corrupted. Maybe 50 hours of game play and accomplishments lost. We are now every diligent with our saved games. And on the note of saved games, this is an aspect that most people take for granted. A nuisance pause for most people. An emergency screw up fixer for nearly all. For us, saved games are a way to extract far more enjoyment and quality from the game. To replay a series of days, a quest line, or a long complex series of incidents numerous different ways. Saved games as we play it are also an opportunity to cheat in a way. Have a number of unspent perk points that get put into enhancing the PC a certain way. Then reload a saved game and put the perks somewhere else. This game we are presently playing was restarted froma game start on September 2nd, 2013. We have played through the Vilja quest line about 15 times. In the Skyrim folder is 2 GB of saved games, carefully labeled. So a screw up with an NPCs quest line is trivial. An opportunity to enjoy the game play all over again. I screwed up M'rissi the first time then abandoned her for 3 months, then reloaded and tried again shortly after a restart of Vilja. It worked out wonderfully. We also play Skyrim entirely for the scenery at times. Replay a few days just to be in certain places at certain times of day or weather. "I'd like to do that trip again buy the weather should be drizzly and foggy." So M'rissi and her foibles can be trivial and nothing that should badly reflect on the author. If anything, her story line could be expanded where she matures a little and you can set down and tell her the entire truth. Depending on her disposition towards you she may yet again spurn and shun you, or perhaps give you a heart warming tear jerking hug.

Despite her flaws I voted for her to encourage the general community of people that write quality companion mods. This is clearly a mod that the author put a lot of heart felt work into. Mod authoring is an art/craft/skill where you are punished brutally for any flaw real or perceived and rewarded with mild applause for successes.

I reloaded a game and it's called "unusual ring", but couldn't get a console code for it. Google wasn't any help either.

Drop the ring, enter console, point mouse at ring. The use player.additem xxxxxxxxx 1. Or enter in the console> help "unusual ring". You must include the " double quotes. That may work with your present saved game.

Another way of getting the ring easily would be to install AddItemMenu

Another way of getting the ring easily would be to install AddItemMenu Only if your running Classic. Or if you port it to SSE yourself. I think we are mainly talking about SSE on this thread. However if you are using classic, Btog is right additemMenu is an excellent utility.
