Well, as I walked past the Castle it crashed.... I guess I will wait till they polish it a bit.
Edit: I just thought of something funny... Wouldn't it be hilarious if Vilja commented that she didn't want to go to Cyrodiil because you get a little crazy when you get near our old home... ( The Shivering Isles... )

Seems like a lot of bugs still. Doubling down on patience as to not DL it and be cranky.

Seems like a lot of bugs still. Doubling down on patience as to not DL it and be cranky. I am not playing the Special Edition version, but it seems like most of the actual bugs in the Legendary version have been solved. I have played it through about three times and that will be it for me. It is a remarkable achievement by the group but I found most of the content pretty dull. There is one quest which I would call a "main quest" and the others are either fetch quests or quests which are likely introductory to future content which I will likely not ever see unless I start playing Special Edition. I might find it more generally appealing if I felt nostalgic about Oblivion, which I do not.

Re downloaded and it seems stable. Got a few framerate hits while walking down the path to Bruma, but I was recording in case anything interesting happened ( That drops the framerate a bit), but found nothing to report in a half hour of walking around.

I haven't explored much, spend most of my time in Bruma. I have found it looks better without my EMB. Some scripted scenes play really slow and have had to wait a minute or tow for key lines to trigger.Given my build this is not a great surprise, scripts lag and I are friends. With between 8-16 hours I have had one CTD, which took place as the dogs scrabbled across my keyboard.

Just saw the Bruma half scale. May have to try it along with SSE half scale. I think that's the name, it's in the new recently section on Nexus SSE.

Maybe I should wait until someone releases a reduced textures patch. Missed this, see my above post

Didn't seem to be avaliable for Oldrim. I have seen nothing like that for "Oldrim".

I just had one of those amazing coincidence conversations. I just meet the chief in BS:B who is freaked out by a newspaper called "The Mudcrab." As we ride away Vilja started her speel about scary Solstiem Mudcrabs.
