Never used it. What is its function exactly? Same as Nexus Mod Manager?Just curious, It caught my eye looking through the mods on Nexus. Less problems if installed by hand I think.

Wrye is another Mod manager. Some people swear by it. (In my observation the most techie crowd.) Most other people use it for it's ability to create merged lists and merging files. I didn't have much luck with it the last time I used it and ended up doing most of my merging manually.

" - Wrye Bash is a powerful mod management utility for TES IV: Oblivion, TES V: Skyrim, Fallout 4 and TES V Skyrim SE. - Its a mod installation and file conflict manager - A load order manager - Screenshot manager - .ini and settings files tweak management. - It makes it safe to try out new mods because it will restore everything to the way it was when you uninstall a mod - It makes more mods compatible with each other by importing information from different mods into a "bashed patch" "
It is not, however, very intuitive to use; and if used incorrectly can trash your game. Documentation is extensive but turgid, and advice is often contradictory. I had no problems using Wrye Mash for Morrowind but am floundering trying to decipher Bash.

The problem with Wrye Bash is that it does a lot more than the other Mod Managers, and so that confuses a lot of people. In my opinion, it's unmatched for its ability to undo, whether the new content is bsa's or loose files. The "bashed patch" allows you to use mods together that would otherwise be alternatives, by combining content from multiple replacement files into one.
You'll still need a number of other tools with it, (like LOOT), but most can be launched from Bash, which makes it a useful start point for running the game, the construction/creation kit, TESxEdit etc.
