I've got Laureena´s father's amulet, and taken it to Snorri, the trouble is he won't speak to me, have I missed anything?

Have you talked to Laurenna AFTER you got the amulet? If not, do so.
If this doesn't help, post your last journal entry here, it will make it easier to sort out.

Thanks. I found out what had happened, I hadn't talked to Learanna's father's spirit.
You may be able to shed some light on this as well, when I found Learanna, not only was she headless (her figure stops at the neck), but there are TWO of her!
Other characters have only one NPC though, that's what's making me wonder what's going on, is it a bug or what?

It sounds as if you have once added the esp-version of the mod, went to Lokken, unchecked the mod, continued to play and then lated checked the mod again. For some reason Laurenna got a NPC-line (maybe you looked at the mod in the construction set and happened to touch her?) You should be able to clean this out either by using Wrye Mash or manually, following the instructions here: lovkullen.net/Emma/faq.htm § 3 and 4 (if you use the esm-version of the mod, these things won't happen to you, which is why I have made both an esm and an esp version)

No I didn't do that, what I DID do was load both the esp AND esm then removed the esm after I had played Bloodmoon a little - could that be the cause? As far as looking in the CS that was one thing I DID pick up in the files you kindly pointed me to, and I didn't even try to either look at or modify Lokken Island or any of the NPC's. Don't get me wrong, I can do just that if necessary, but not with NPC's - not until I figure out how to make them first, and of course script them as well!
I left Snorri with the cure and have gone back to Learanna and then to her friend then to the castle prison, I'm there now, but how do I go on from here!
